Unlocking the Power of Chrome: Issue 31
Time again for another Unlocking the Power of Chrome. I have a great extension to share with you today.
I also feel like another special edition may be in our future as Google appears to be making some major improvements to the Chrome Browser/OS.
If you are just joining me, every two days I cover a new Google Chrome extension that you may find cool or useful.
Extensions are like mini-programs that run in your browser and enhance the features available to you in Chrome.
Clipboard History 2
The extension that I am going to cover today is called Clipboard History 2.
You can add it to Chrome from the Chrome Webstore here.
The developer of the extension also has a webpage that you can visit here.
I am pretty excited about this extension and I think as you dig into it you will find the possibilities are endless.
Let's say you have something that you find yourself frequently copying and pasting. My signature text for my posts is the first thing that comes to mind. Clipboard History 2 will allow you to save that text and access it in the future any time you are writing a new post. How cool is that!
Clipboard History 2 also allows you to import and export text. Additionally, you can merge items that you have put on your clipboard. For example, say I have two banners I copy and paste into my posts and my signature. I can merge all three of those together to be a single paste.
Give Clipboard History 2 a spin and see if it can help you streamline your posting on Steemit. Maybe it can help you with your other work too!

I've steered clear of your "unlocking posts" because I wasn't using chrome, but now that I am I decided to give it a look. This clipboard history seems pretty useful will surely give it a try based on your recommendation, thanks for the link as well so I don't have to go hunt it down.
That is understandable. I am glad you took the plunge. I have always been pretty happy with Chrome. It really does a lot of things well. My earlier issues didn't have the links until someone suggested it. I have been adding them ever since... Thanks for the comment!

Wow, how handy is this? Especially with the amount of stuff I have to have to hand to paste in.
I know! Right? I have a little script in Google Docs that I usually paste at the end of my posts, but now that I am using this extension, I don't have to go copy it and paste it. I can just grab it from the history and paste with one click!
I can see why it would be handy! I do have a notepad template, but this would be more handy, especially since I change banners depending on my type of post and it can be an issue.
Another great use is to put the "Wow great post" comments so you can copy-paste easily to comemnts (if you like to be flagged) :P If any minnow is reading this - DO NOT DO THIS! ahahaha

HA! I love The SteemEngine. I may have missed out on this series. Thanks for the time it took to write these.
Seems like it would be a useful tool to have, as we grow into more communities as an individual we will on occasion want to highlight one or two of them depending on post content.
