Unlocking the Power of Chrome: Day 14

in #chrome6 years ago

I have been doing this series long enough now that I thought it deserved a proper graphic. I used Canva to design and export this and I am pretty happy with it. Let me know what you think...

As you hopefully know by now, in this series I am highlighting a different Chrome extension every other day. The series has been very well received so far.

Hopefully, amongst all of the extensions I covered you have been able to pick and choose a couple that are useful to you.

The extension I am going to cover today is another one that is very helpful if you do a lot of online shopping. More specifically online shopping with a little company called Amazon.

Camelizer

The Camelizer extension can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store here. They also have a webpage that can be visited here.

Camelizer is basically a live price tracking tool. If there is an item that you are interested in on Amazon, it will let you know when the price has dropped.

It is a service that you have to log in to, but once you have, you can set it up to alert you about deals and price drops. Additionally, you can use it to view historical pricing for items that you are interested in.

Here are some of the features of Camelizer according to their web page:

  • View Camel price history charts without leaving retailer product pages.

  • Easy access to the complete price history data on our site.

  • Works on Amazon (US, UK, DE, FR, JP, CA, CN, IT, ES).

If you do a lot of shopping online (especially Amazon), make sure you check out the Camelizer. It might just help you hold on to some of that hard earned cash!

Remember, I want to hear about your favorite Chrome extensions too. If you leave me one in a comment and I highlight it, I will give you an upvote on one of your recent posts, a follow, and shout-out.

Cool! Thanks for sharing such useful tips! Now I'll have to check out your blog to study up on other extensions as I use Chrome, exclusively. Cheers!

followed your link here via PYPT. ;)

Awesome and thank you. Hopefully you will find at least one of them useful. I try to do a variety so people can pick and choose what is best for them. I covered a new one today and have another post ready for Sunday!

I'll surely have to check the entire series. There's so much to do with extensions but I'm always worried about slowing down Chrome (which isn't a really hard thing to do hahaha).
Thanks for sharing!

Chrome can be fussy. I won't deny that. Check out the Special Edition Post there is a task manager built in to Chrome so you can see which extensions are hogging all of your resources (if any). Thanks for the comment!

Thanks, I will check the whole series. Extensions are really useful. I used to work for MTurk and there was this extension known as ExtensionTurkopticon which helped workers like me to identify requestors who were good enough to work on. They would be rated and we can choose those who pay promptly and so on

Very cool! Thanks for stopping by. I am covering a new extension every other day so there may be plenty more you might find useful!

Thanks Sir
