When the trumpet shall sound
I’ll say to the world bye-bye
Jesus gloriously appear
To rapture his Church
Spotless and without wrinkle
Those who conquer shall meet
The Lord in the air
I’ll say to troubles bye-bye
Because to meet Jesus means-
My sufferings are ended,
Temptations all are gone.
If you conquer you’ll meet
The Lord in the air
When the trumpet shall sound,
My tears shall be wiped away
Jesus will take me by his hands,
And comfort me,
I’ll sit with on the throne
If you conquer you’ll meet
The Lord in the air
Oh! My sister d’you know?
That the time is far spent
And the day is drawing so close,
The signs are here and time fast ticking
Jesus Christ will very soon be here
If you’re prepared you meet
The Lord in the air
Will you conquer sisters?
And sit with Jesus on his throne,
Jesus said those who conquer shall
Receive all crowns and sit
With him on the throne
If you conquer you’ll meet
The Lord, in the air
