"Purpose-FULL..." - Daily Word #31

Yesterday I shared on God's Masterpiece... YOU :)

Today I will expound on that same verse in Ephesians 2:10 from the beautiful Passion Translation.

"We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfil the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfil it!"

This is just mind-blowing to me. Please read the verse above again.

The scripture clearly shows that God has a plan for each of us, even before we are conceived. In Jeremiah 1:5 we read, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations”... this was such a clear message for Jeremiah.

God is all-knowing, all-powerful Father in Heaven who can envision what you will BE in your future, even before you have actually become it. Amazing right?

What does this mean?

When you are in Christ, you are a New Creation with a New Purpose and Destiny to Fulfil! One Pastor shared that "Our knowledge or lack of knowledge concerning this truth does not alter the fact that God has a purpose and a destiny for your life." Source

One of the best ways to discover that New Purpose is to be like Paul in Acts 9:6 he asked God, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Begin with asking and seeking His Face. You and I can do that by getting away from our busyness and just quieting down your spirit. Perhaps find a good spot to just let your mind and body be at peace and rest, and listen to your heart, your inner person and allow the Holy Spirit to speak and align you to your plans ahead.

Once the plans are revealed, you must be found Faithful taking the right amount of action towards it. Often, when it is the things of God, you may notice that you will be faced with some challenges or trials. It's only natural when you are advancing His Plans.

Commit yourself to Prayer each day and Fellowship with the Saints / Believers, this will encourage your walk. Note not to walk alone. :)

And when you persist long enough, you will begin to see FRUITS take place. Everything must be in line with the Season of God.

I believe that when we pursue the Purposes of God in our lives, God will cause us to become a true witness for Him -- and we will partner Him (and other Believers) to see His Kingdom established here on Earth as it is in Heaven.

This means that when we are out there Living Our Life according to His Will and Plans; we will see it accompanied with His Power for Healing, Deliverance, Setting Captives Free, Souls Coming In, Transformation of Lives, and ultimately Discipleship of People and Nations.

Each of us play a part of this big jigsaw puzzle, this poem, this masterpiece where God Himself is the Orchestrator and Leader of it all.
