This is Psalm number two in its entirety. It's hard to believe people will literally fight God, but this a prophecy that they do and they will. It makes the way people fight against authority and government positions and treat them with such disrespect easier to understand. If they will fight God, what is it to them to fight a position or a man. If their God is their own belly or mind and they have not exercised spiritual discretion and control over their own minds and spirit they have no natural affection. In other posts and future posts, I have talked about this. Romans Chapter one and Second Timothy Chapter Three list not the symptoms but the outcome of Godlessness. It describes the very behaviors we are observing in our politicians and media and describes it as end time behavior. They criticise God, human authority and respect only themselves. It's sad and scary but God says when you see these things "look up" your redemption draweth nigh. There is an end to this dispensation of time! I believe it is upon us.
This does not mean we should hide, or do nothing. It does mean we can take heart and look at things from the perspective of God. He is in a position of strength and knowledge whether or not anyone believes it or likes it. He wins and he rules and reigns in the coming millennium. The days of Satan running rabid through the earth and inhabiting human bodies and minds is going to end. Satan will be cast into the pit and bound for one thousand years. He is livid because he knows his day is soon coming. When you believe the Bible and know what is coming there is nothing to fear. Furthermore, if you are a Christian you have authority in this life and will rule and reign with Christ during the thousand year millennium. This is a comfort and a way of life far superior to fear and depression over our current circumstance. It appears that evil has the upper hand and that is truly upsetting if you do not know there is a better thing coming. The last two lines of this psalm are guides how to cope and receive hope. Best wishes and prayers for your body, mind and most importantly: your spirit.

Psalm 2 King James Version (KJV)
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
