LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR
pixabayCountless times I run away from opportunities because of my fear of what if. Today I have learnt that instead of running, why not override them with faith. We always feel we can do better on our own when God already promised that he will be in control of everything. Many times we take issues into our hands thinking we can manipulate the outcome or direction of a situation. The fear of surrendering all to the owner of the universe with belief that we can do it our way doesn’t sit well with God.
He said he has not given us the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.- 2 Timothy 1 VS 7
Challenges come but have faith that it will pass. Always Learn to let go and let God in all situations. Acknowledge and understand that you cannot always be in control and your problems can’t be fixed by you. Most times in fact all the time, our problems and conflicts are bigger than us, do not beat yourself up or hold yourself down when you find yourself in situations beyond your power. Knowing you have someone greater than you to relinquish your power and fear to, gives you the strength, grace and belief to go through and overcome challenges in other to grow your faith and understanding in Christ. Life is not about the measure of our strength, but knowing that God is big enough to take care of all our problems.
Faith fills the gap between your ability and your fear. Do not be afraid nor let your low understanding of a situation hinder your progress. This is a point where you sit down and hand everything over to God.

Do not be for I am with you, do not be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious hand.- Isaiah 40 VS 10
I will not cause pain without allowing new things to be born says the Lord. - Isaiah 66 vs 9
Be bold, be brave, and be courageous. – Joshua 1 vs 9
