HALO JUMP 2040...
My attempt at creating a somewhat realistic painting of a futuristic HALO Jump (or High Altitude, Low Open Parachute Jump). Partially 3D and Partially photoshop brush painting with black and white tones. Full image below.
Hope you like the work. My hope was to bring in some high detail and create a lot of drama with the tones and scene build. I think it would make a pretty good comic cover.

really cool - can't stop looking at the sunlight playing off the clouds below him... draws me right in.
Not as easy to create depth with blacks and greys as you might think. lol.
well im not an artist .... so it all looks impossible to me! LOL
