Since then, I’ve been living out of this platform. No other platform comes even close. It may not be perfect, but it has an established cryptocurrency, and an excellent community that is getting better by the day. 1. Steemit!
The most similar to our platform is its sports oriented blockchain offshoot named Scorum. It is specialized, and its currency still does not have much value, but it has an enormous potential. Platform is still in construction, and is planned to have media (or blogging) department, blockchain betting exchange (test phase) and centralized betting platform for the hard core bettors with suicidal tendencies ;) Unfortunately, the developing team is not up to the task, since everything goes very slow and without commitment of the team to some timeline. 2. Scorum

3. Minds
Out of those three, only Steemit realistically allows blogger to make a living. All the rest are just experiments with very uncertain destiny. Like, for example, Peepeth — An Irrelevant Blockchain Twitter. Making a decentralized social media platform is, in truth, very hard, complicated and demanding task. One more reason to appreciate work Daniel Larimer has done at Steemit, and see what he can done with EOS blockchain.
The adventure continues. I don’t doubt there will be more decentralized social platforms, and I intend to compile a specification of an ideal platform in my opinion. Then we will see if we have capable programmers among us ;)
