This past week we asked Steemians for their best blockchain pitch. How could you describe "blockchain" if you had only 1 sentence to explain it? Blockchain is by far the biggest buzzword of 2018, yet, most struggle when it comes to articulating it. If you had a maximum of 280 characters (the length of a Tweet) what key points would you'd like to drive home?

Yeey, I won something ! I didn't expect to be so many winners. Also I'm pretty happy that I qualified for the "Vive la révolution!" section because that is what it feels like contributing to a blockchain environment - a revolution. Awesome job guys.

So many different perspectives and definitions. The concept can have many different meanings depending on its use. Some people see it as a technology whereas others see it as an ideology.
I'm sure the entire concept has changed since its inception and probably will continue to evolve over time as the technology improves and finds new use mechanisms. Blockchains of today will probably look different in 5 - 10 years and beyond. Its pretty exciting I think!
