Greed, rich and no need to be generous
Saturday - December 14, 2019
I had a terrible short (read no) night rest. I kept sneezing and my neck killed me but we had to leave at 2 am. We left 30 minutes later at 2:30 am. It did not rain for a change.
After 30 minutes it started raining and after one-hour driving, I felt like I could fall asleep any minute. I tried to encourage myself by making false promises (drive 3 hours and after that, you can stop).
Once Germany was driving in the pouring rain. My navigation system still lives one hour ahead of us.
6:30 am
My first stop came as I needed to tank which I didn't do on the highway. I paid 1.39 euros. Sooo cheap. You cannot tank 1-liter gasoline in the Netherlands for that price. It was in. Aschaffenburg East. I did not further investigate the place. It is a long time ago I stopped there overnight with my camper. We always visited the media market to search for Inuyasha DVDs for my daughter. The children had a frozen pizza baked by the gas station for free at 7 am.
The next planned stop we did not stop.
It was Laaber but no one needed to pee so I drove on in the pouring rain with snow. The weather service was on the roads shoveling and cleaning them with salt or sand (my car is dirty again) and I crossed the border to Austria. Leaving the country is way easier as getting in. There is no checkpoint or control. There was a long traffic jam on the other side.
We stay overnight in Austria, close to the highway. It turned out the place I intended to tank was right before it and I had to turn around. There was a great roundabout with huge pears on it. No way I could take a photo from it. Twice I stepped out of the car to take a photo and I was nearly blown off my shoes.
I tanked for the second time in Oed (1.20 euro/liter extremely cheap the Netherlands is close to 2 euro/liter).
I used the free internet of Burger's King and posted my new ccc contest and sent my daughter an update of where we were at 1:30 pm
The rain stopped and only a strong wind remained. Tomorrow I will check out the weather if I leave. No matter what it is I drive anyway.
At 4:30 pm I posted the announcement of the winners after I transferred the prizes and payments.
I am not in the mood to answer more comments. It is 6:35 pm and time to catch some sleep.
I wrote a freewrite and Sunday preach in one and that is enough for today. @rem-steem told me yesterday I invest way too much time in Steem. It's true.
The bother of the day.
If you have some time left have a look at

And if you have a bit of heart give some people hope and faith in humanity. I hope that starts with a bit of food in the belly. Think about it if you take a bite. Thank you

I think by now I have a sleep disorder. Only if I pass out (if the dizzyness come) I sleep and you cannot wake me up. I can be tired but not able to sleep and go on because I have to.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I appreciate it. I wish you a great day. 💕

Thank ypu for the update. I wish you a great day. 💕
Long-distance drive in rain and snow is always a trouble and demands full attention. Congratulations on being able to drive in such conditions and do the online work at the same time.
Excuse my ignorance - where are you traveling to?
!BEER
@ervin-lemark I travelled up and down between the Netherland and Hungary. It was less worse as during summer but the hotel was terrible and with two bad night rests it breaks you. So I go catch some extra sleep in a few minutes.
I plan what I need to post like the contest so with a connection I only need to press the "send" button. I think if you host a contest you should be reliable. Answering, bit reading I do on other moments. Just with writing I am behind but I can catch up with that.
Happy day and thanks for the chat. I appreciate it. ❤️
You are doing great!
Did you try to schedule some posts? When content can be fully prepared in advance, of course.
@ervin-lemark I tried once or twice but I had a hard time to figure out about the time difference given. Plus I freewrite so this post I can do after I know the prompt.
@olivia07 please read this, the last part, scroll down. 💕

Feliz viaje.
I like the photos you take along the way. How good it is to travel, it hurts that you feel bad. I remember the times when, in my car and with my son, we toured the country. That joke about running out of shoes, because you sink into the depths of the snow, hahahaha. Good thing you didn't lose them.
It is sad that people who speak of God, dare to talk more about the neighbor's account. I will never understand that they understand each other for love.
Happy journey.
A few times I lost a shoe. I pulled it out and went home on wet, cold, frozen feet. It is nice to just drive around and stop. These days I am more in a hurry because I leave the wolf's behind. If you leave no one behind it is more relaxed. But I know they can take care of themselves.

My dear, @wakeupkitty, your post is really good as of I traveling with you and its too funny about the 6 yrs old post and certain Freeman from Japan, my friend is also feeling annoyed him/her using the word of God. I read this post too late. Enjoy your vacation.
@olivia08 Don't worry about being late you were there, thanks.
I think he is after the people from Venezuela this time. I see him show up everywhere. ❤️
