CONTEST/CONCURSO: Looking Back/Look Forward (Mirando hacia atrás/ mirando hacia adelante) 2.27

Some call it the holiday season, to others it is the sign winter starts.
Some celebrate and get into deep debts, others do not care keep it sober, simple and share. Each year a larger group suffers from the December month. It is the month of depressions, the end of the year, more debts and they see no way out, a happy New Year does not exist for them.
Looking back as a child Christmas was church at midnight and visiting grannies or going out to a restaurant.
You had to make your reservation about five months earlier. Family, restaurants, lots of food and church, these days are over. We keep it simple and stay with us. We love it this way. I downloaded some films via Netflix (thanks to my eldest) and we will enjoy our time together.
The miserable feeling, loneliness is gone since the moment we made our own habits. We do not watch television, listen to the radio and are no longer confronted with the commercials telling us how the ideal family should spend these days with presents and stuffing ourselves.
