Looking Back/ Look Forward SBI Contest #3

Hello friends :)

The point of this contest is to write a post following the #ccc rules about something that you either enjoyed doing over the past week, or are looking forward to doing in the coming week.

I know that this is a little more in-depth than normal SBI giveaway contests, but part of the point of #ccc is to generate good content on the Steem platform.

Here is my response as an example of what I am looking for.

This week I have a lot of enjoyable things to look back on.

On Wednesday, my girlfriend and I went on a hike near where we live. It was a gorgeous area.

I had a great time on this hike. Surprisingly, because about 20 minutes in, a thunderstorm started, and we got soaked. Legitimately soaked, we wrung water from our coats afterwards. We weren’t prepared in the slightest, but I don’t know. Something about wandering around a forest, breathing that clean, fresh post-rain (well, during-rain) smell really got me in a good mood. Plus, it was a new experience for me. I’ve never gotten that wet from rain before haha.

Then, yesterday, I got to do my capoeira class. I was supposed to also go on Wednesday, but it was an outdoor class and the thunderstorm canceled it. However, Friday’s class was super small, just the instructor and one other student, so I was able to learn a ton. In fact, I did a video today demoing some of the movements I learned.

I only feel mildly silly about doing that. It honestly was kind of fun, I felt graceful. Though it may not look it. The only downside is that I couldn’t listen to music while doing the movements, because I didn’t want to run into any copyright issues. I found some youtube videos that seem to have been ok, but they sounded horrible in the recording. Does anyone know how to both play and record the audio? Video editing is not my forte.

Hopefully this coming week will be as enjoyable as my last one was :)

As to the winning process, this will be random draw. Using a Random Number Generator, I got 3. So @wakeupkitty, you are the lucky winner and get 1 SBI from me.
