History of the Maserati A6G/2000
The Maserati A6 A6 were different series (GT, racing sports...) produced by Maserati from 1947 to 1956 and named with the first letter of the first name of one Maserati brothers, Alfieri Maserati and the 6 stands for the straight-six engine.
The Maserati A6G 2000 Spider was presented in 1953 with a design of Pietro Frua, famous Italian car designer, who in the 50's designed beautiful cars ( Fiat 1100C spyder and Maserati A6G). In that decade, he worked for Fiat, Maserati and Lancia, but also for the French Panhard and Renault. The G indicates the material of the engine block, ghisa (cast iron).

No trident on the grill? I agree the top down is perfect with the red accent interior. Top up is too much. Goes from a powerful sports car to a cute car that a rich college girl got from her daddy.
