Cannabis update!
Finally a Garden update!
Well, after doing very minimal work out here for most of the year, everything was looking good. The plants last year did suffer from growing pains in our learning of Korean Natural Farming and its recommended inputs and treatments, sometimes the plants loved it sometimes not. This year being more educated in KNF and using the inputs from KNF less often, this garden we had out here was really happy! The neighbors trees were even looking spectacular. Then came the rains, the weird fog and dust for over two weeks. The dust is still lingering but so is the damage from the acids rains and weird fog/mist.
The madness that ensued really discouraged me and I just started making video game content as our lovely garden went downhill fast. All the leaves on all the plants were left looking burned and yellowing too.
Our Cannabis plants did not like the lack of sun or the acid rains. We saw major leaf damage and worm attacks. Thankfully, they rebounded much to my surprise as they were not looking good. After two treatments of Safer(insecticidal soap) and Captain Jacks dead bug and not to mention cutting off a lot of tops the worms subsided. I do not plan on anymore treatments of anything so I cut away all the damaged parts and cleared out the lower branches to help the plants with any further bug attacks.
We do NOT use liquid bottle fertilizers with a npk value. We do use a product from a bottle called Ful-Power (it is an organic fulvic/humic acid product, it was and probably still is the only certified Fulvic acid product approved for use for foliar treatments in an organic program in USA) and Boogie Brix
a kelp, humic acid and sugar product. Used 3 times in a 2 month period. We are strapped for cash and using what we had from last year.
Our greenhouse is in pieces, again no money. There is a Mulberry tree right next to these plants that is more illegal than these cannabis plants can be, as they are invasive and take water away from the native plants. We expect the pollen to happen soon so replacing the greenhouse cover sooner than later, hopefully happens before the Mulberry pollen starts to emerge.
I ended up feeding these worms and rollie pollies all the plant debris which yeah duh they love! Also have been throwing bananas and various fruit that we don't consume in the soil for these cannabis plants. Of course, these beneficial bugs consume the food scrapes really quick.
Now these Cannabis plants came from a friend who was doing a light depth operation. That is when you have better control of the light cycle by giving the plants more light or less in order to control when the plants flower. However, disrupting the plants light cycle will cause 1-3 ‘fingered’ leaves to happen. This did happen to these girls but they are now shooting off 5 fingered leaves again!
I will try and be better about posting more frequently and keep you all better informed on our garden as opposed to video game content!

I’ll try to do more KNF thing this year. I did a small batch of FAA last year. It has been sitting for a year and the pieces of fish have not totally dissolved. It is now looking like honey with fish pieces inside. Maybe I added too much sugar. I will have to measure properly this time.
I also want to start with FPJ.

Sounds like its good... Small bones can be expected especially with deep water fish... Though not common necessarily. What was the average temp for fermentation? If it gets too cold it can slow down fermentation. Did you use a paper towel cover? Paper Coffee filters is not recommended
I did it in a plastic bucket with its own lid and a brewing airlock. It was outside undercover for a year so had both heat and cold.

Ohhh ok i see... In class we were taught to make it using wild fermention. The yeasts and funguses were probably not in high #s just the lactic acid bacteria... Which to tell you the truth im going to use airlocks on everything except the fish because i consume these ferments too and my environment has too much pathogenetic funguses in this desert. Still have to catch the organisms in the wild fermentation process for the rice wash part in LAB BUT ill be using an airlock for the milk part...
I did add a pinch of finish compost to it at the recommendation of Chris Trump. I think it could my ratio fish/sugar that is wrong as I didn't go by weight but by (eyeballed) volume instead.
I will make several smaller batches with different methods to see what works for me.
For the LaB have you tried doing it with milk kefir? You could let the kefir over-ferment and use the whey and it takes only 48hrs to make
I like the LAB process. But who knows in the future maybe ill try keifer grains out
Yeah everyone loves keifer as an alternative. Yes chris trump does recommend a pinch of IMO 4 the fungal dom compost to be added
Oh I forgot to say make sure to keep out of direct sunlight. The Japanesse or rather I have found a definition from a Japanese Source stating that fermentation temperatures are ideal between 72 degrees and 78 degrees. I have noticed when ferments are around that temperature they do seem to be a lot more effective and last longer. You are pretty close to South Korea right? I left that group because there was a major lack of support. In general though Drake and Chris mean really well and in all fairness Drake did respond to me but after I left insta for Steemit. Im telling you his patreon has 100x more info and he is more or was at least responsive there.

Not in your most recent one lol but i did notice that! As I am trying to do better with my videos I notice stuff like that. It used to make me cringe but since I am also guilty of such crimes i laugh when i see others do it and try and ummm learn from it😄
haha yes. i've been trying to fix it. but i get so nervous infront of the camera it just comes out without even me realizing it. hopefully i'll get better and better. slowly. 😆
I consider cannabis to be a medicine and even more so there are ways to prepare it to make it even more medically beneficial. I do not believe cannabis should be consumed for fun as it has become a party drug and a commercial product. In this world of craziness cannabis can heal just about anything and anyone in my experience. But maybe in your case it will make you less anti-social as that is the effect that it has on me as well
i see. i feel like sometimes i just need to zone out and relax. but i can't do it because i'm too stressed out and anxious. i was kinda hoping something like cannabis might be a reliever. but i won't have a chance to try anyways, at least not for the time being.
Whoops my curation trail account upvoted your comment😔. I hate wasting the vp on comments especially since the trail wont even follow! Yes cannabis works great for anxiety! However some people have smaller cannabinoid receptor sites in their brains then others and it can have the opposite effect if your cannabinoid receptor sites are not as big as most people's are
