UK Man Risking Up To 14 Years In Jail For Underground Cannabis Oil Operation

in #cannabis6 years ago

Cannabis remains criminalized in the UK at the moment, even though it's regarded as the most widely-used illicit drug in the region. For anyone who gets caught with cannabis in the UK, they could face several years in prison, along with a hefty fine.

But one man has been busy making cannabis oil in his own underground operation and then giving it out for free to people who are terminally ill.

That man is a 42 year old individual who has been on a quest to try and distribute cannabis oil to those who need it, for free, even though he could face a severe penalty for his actions of civil disobedience.

What has inspired his efforts?

Mr. Bains (which isn't his real name) has reportedly admitted that it was his brother's personal experience with cannabis that eventually influenced his views. It was the change that he saw personally in his brother that has fueled his mission, saying he noticed it drastically improve his brother's quality of life. What he witnessed as far as changes to his brother's medical conditions, he says was nothing short of a true miracle. And that has now inspired him to go on and help others, even if the state frowns upon what he is doing.

He has been working on and refining his oil making process for months and has been networking with illegal home growers in the UK who have been willing to sell him the product that he needs to make his oil.

Right now, he admits that with 30 ounces of cannabis he's been able to produce roughly 60 grams of oil with it. Once he has the oil, he then pours the product into plastic syringes.

He is trying to heal as many people as possible

He isn't looking for any reimbursement for his efforts, though he does sometimes accept nominal payment for his product. He admits that it costs him quite a bit each time that he goes to make a batch of the oil. He only asks that those who might want to offer some sort of reimbursement, might pray for the healing of his own brother. Bains has admitted that he feels as if he will get his own prayers answered for his brother, if he helps enough people with his cannabis oil.

Cannabis is still criminalized in the UK, despite the government previously admitting that it does have medicinal effects. Their criminalization of cannabis means that there are millions of people who aren't able to access this plant to see if it could boost their own quality of life as it has already done for so many others. Cannabis advocates in the UK continue to push for legalization and many think that it could just be around the corner for them.

Until legalization is implemented however, anyone caught peacefully engaging with cannabis by either growing, selling, or possessing it etc, could face multiple years behind bars and a fine. Mr. Bains admits that he is aware of the risks involved with what he is doing and he says that he is prepared to accept the consequences, though hopes that because of his motives that the state would hopefully be lenient with him if they do catch him eventually.

It sounds like he doesn’t deserve to go to prison unlike many drug dealers, his only crime is wanting to help people.
Over the past few years more and more people are realising the health benefits of cannabis oils to the point where governments will not be able to ignore it although the is probably a lot off pressure put on them by the pharmaceutical companies to do so. Cheers mike

60 grams of oil is apparently the cure for many cancers. If that's about 30 ounces of cannabis, then under Canadian legalisation, it takes more than a 2-year supply of cannabis to cure cancer - in other words impossible. #illegallyhealing #powertothepatients

#cannabis is so heavily forbidden in my country because it is just believed to be another cause of criminality so obtaining it is not a good option for medical purposes. I just want to take some for my appetite problems.

it is such a shame that you cannot be afforded that freedom ✌

Good = Respecting and protecting innocent life.
Evil = Hurting, oppressing, or killing, for fun or for profit.

Cannabis is not evil. The criminalization of cannabis is evil.

They will allow the 'Big Pharma' to do it in a giffy. But when it comes to a simple guy trying to help out others.............. of course, the full force of the law will brought down upon him by the big brother.

I seriously that hope so many people take to doing it, that they don't know what to do with them. en-mass civil disobedience............ it'd be a sight to behold.

What are your opinions on the legalisation of cannabis and cannabis oils?
I personally think it should be legalized.

"The state is the coldest of cold monsters." - Nietzsche

Imagine if an employer refused to allow an employee to use medicine to treat a condition. Or if a parent punished their child for attempting to medicate themselves for an illness. Individuals have been imprisoned for such abuses. And yet the state does such things as a matter of policy. This man is a hero.
