Seniors Can't Stop Getting In Line For Cannabis
A growing number of seniors today are looking to get their hands on some cannabis and they can't stop turning to line-up for the product, to see if it can help them with a myriad of different ailments.
Cannabis is still prohibited federally, yet you can access recreational and medicinal cannabis programs in a variety of different states today. This includes places like Alaska, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
Many older adults have been turning to cannabis to see if they might be able to get some help with their anxiety, depression, insomnia, memory care, or pain.
One previous study found that cannabis therapy was safer and more efficient for seniors than their opioid medications in treating a variety of symptoms related to illnesses *such as cancer, PTSD, ulcerative colitis, and Parkinson's.
In Colorado, a growing number of seniors are becoming interested in what cannabis might be able to do for them.
Seniors are regarded as the fastest growing consumer group of cannabis in the U.S. today.
For 2016 alone, it's estimated that cannabis spending in Colorado was around $1.3 billion. The overall legal cannabis market in the United States is expected to surpass $20 billion by 2021.

I still don't get why it shouldn't be legalized in all countries, I fell it advantages out ways its disadvantages.
it will be soon.
Great to know the positive aspects and beneficial aspects of these stuff and if something really beneficial then that should be reached to everyone because that's the true right, and in previous time we educated that the child vaccination is really important, but in my opinion now the studies are coming out as it's not good and some petitions also produced, so in my opinion what is good and what is not for human being is still mystery to the great levels. Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
I don’t blame them , as we age we become more insolated and I see depressed as a big key in this too. Cannabis helps to relieve all the stress and anxiety , sort of like gives you pace of mind
Is like you deal on canabbies that why you are promoting it. If only people don't abuse this natural drugs it wouldn't have been prohibited.
This is surprising to hear, so cannabis is legalized for the elderly ones in some states in the US, I haven't held on that in my country, in fact they just placed a ban on codeine utilization in my Country.
This news is really incredible, I would never have imagined that the index of higher growth of consumption was in the elderly, although it is logio for its curative power, agencies should see this behavior and ajilizar legalization in the rest of the states that are still missing.
Thank you very much dear friend @doitvoluntarily for this information
In Canada there was a research made about the impact of cannabis on the Parkinson patients... Results are promising... The 50.000 years old herb can still make great things.
And this video shows it very well.
I like this cannabis :)
Hopes that someday children with 'growing pains' difficulties, i.e. anxieties, hyperactive behaviors common to a growing child, particularly males, will find healthy remedies to the mood-altering opiod prescriptions currently bombarded on the market.
I expect cannabis therapies may eventually become to future generations what aspirin has been for centuries.
Interesting post!
Peace.
I really hope you are right. Cannabis can save us from ourselves
Unfortunately, this will require pushback from the majority. As long as we just talk about it, and keep re-electing the same state & fed reps with the promise of a new day and getting the same old same old, it won’t happen.
I won't be surprised if this legislation won't end up being decided by the SCOTUS.
Not having a choice is communism. If study after study consistently shows military vets fairing far better with Rx cannabis than opiods; but, opiods continue to be pushed down their throats, people should begin marches about that. Peaceful protests are a great thing; but, lately many seem to be targeting agendas of subliminal chaos.
Now, to share a huge oxymoron:
While a person could go to Colorado, and legally buy cannabis, he COULD simultaneously be convicted of a crime should the feds choose to implement the current laws on the books.
Thankfully, they’re not pushing back against states where the people have spoken; but, the thought that they could leaves an emotional residue users shouldn’t have to be burdened with.
Fifty years from now, nothing will change unless enough voices insist that they do. Right now, the messages are so mixed; but, thankfully the skew continues to grow in favor of legalization.
Last thing, I expect it will happen; but it will be a sad day when Big Pharma starts dallying in the prescription side of things. The lobbyists will con-vince politicians that it’s the best thing since white rice; but, the regulations created by Big Pharma will threaten the existence of current pure dispensaries.
I'm quite encouraged by what I've seen first hand and read about medicinal marijuana.
Best regards.
Peace.
I imagine they must be supervised doses, it sounds interesting to learn the properties of Cannabis, I suffer from imnsonium problems, so it could also be useful.?
Of course it can help with insomnia. Any indica type strain will help you fall asleep and sleep deep. Don't think of it as a drug buy a herb where you find your own correct dose.
