This is looking across the Hotchkisss Bridge in Downtown Milford, CT, I used to live just a minutes walk from this bridge and walk over it so often the views from it are nice looking up and down the river, but for this post the bridge and its shadow are the focus.
This is a lovely bridge to walk across especially when they put up these flower pots which add a nice touch of color and speaking of which here is the color version of this shot

I have walked over this bridge literally hundreds of times just walked over it two minutes ago but was cold out so came inside and trying to catch up on here lol
The flowers are lovely. With the sun it feels like spring.
But I really like the monochrome version because the shadows are more pronounced. Lovely little bridge :)

Black and white vs color. That age old debate (well at least a few decades). I would sum it up as such;
Color has more life while black and white has more soul.
While gazing upon it I can't help but wonder, what fascinating memories have been formed atop this bridge. First kisses, last goodbyes, even perhaps a drunken brawl. I suppose we will never know. Thank you my Kiwi friend for sharing this wonderful picture, with all it's hidden memories.

It’s all a matter of personal preference of course but for this one I New I wanted todo a B&W edit
The color version I only grabbed to skip in as an afterthought lol
