Carpenter Bee perched on the Calotropis Gigantea plant in the Gampong Jawa area of Banda Aceh.
This type of insect is quite difficult to distinguish, as many are similar in this species.
In general, these insects are black and have a habit of eating dry wood and perched on flowers to suck nectar.
For humans, Calotropis Gigantea plant is also used to cure diseases, such as snakebite and treat itchy skin.
