Coconut tree is one of the most important crops in the tropics, and it is rightly so in the Philippines! It is dubbed as the "tree of life," since it is said that no other plant on earth give so much.
This incredible plant can be used as a food, drink, oil, lumber, rope, and the list can go on.
Philippines is also one of the leading producers of copra, the dried extracted meat, from which coconut oil is taken.
And since coconuts are the last ones to stand fall when there's a storm, we have much of it! A friend even told me that we have more coconuts here than people! Hahaha! 😂
These incredible trees all beautifully lined up is my 2nd entry to #bwphotocontest hosted by @daveks, with @customnature as the guest judge for the week.
