Its botanical name is acacia nilotica. Its growth is fast in warmer climate. It cannot be grown in cold areas where frost and snow occur.It has many uses. Its pods and leaves are used by small ruminants . Its foliage and pods have high value of crude protein.
Its leaves are so healthy and lush green in color. These leaves are high in crude protein. These are mostly grazed by small ruminants goat and sheep.
