Howdy sir molometer! Those are really good shots, I especially like the way you caught that patrol guy crashing through the waves and it's a wonderful look at what that location is like!
Thanks Janton, I was happy with the results from the 300 mm lens. Caught some good detail, even at half a mile or more away.

Yep I was happy with the photos. Quite difficult to tell what you will from the built in view screen.

What a great series of beach photos! I like the perspective. Being up so high and looking down is an unusual vantage point. And what a fabulous hotel! I haven't seen any of the movies/shows you mentioned, but they would be worth watching just for the hotel.
Hello goat-girlz, yep it is a good idea to get up high when shooting cliffs, beaches or mountains.
It gives you a sense of the size of beach in this case.
In computer games. It's like god mode where you can see the whole field of play. 😋
