Yesterday was a very lazy day for me and I spent a lot of time checking out some important astrological aspects for August. However, I think I would try to make a summary of interesting and important feng shui tips.

First of all, I have to admit that I am not an expert in feng shui as the subject is too deep and complicated for me to understand all the intricacies. So, I always pick out the parts that seem to be very crucial for a harmonious result in applying the knowledge of feng shui in my case. This is how I use the Chinese flying stars chart. The chart can be superimposed on to a house so that areas inside could be divided into nine sectors. Each year the flying stars will be moving around these nine sectors according to some complicate Chinese astrology beyond my calculation ability. So, most practitioners just make use of this chart in order to fix potential problems and to enhance the positive benefits from auspicious stars. So, to start off with, you will have to know the direction that your house is facing. The standard chart puts the direction of the south on the top, but I always redraw a chart to fit my facing direction of my house so it would be easier for looking at different sectors of my house.

There are nine sectors or directions for nine flying stars. The red coloured numbers represent the bad or inauspicious stars: 2, 3, 5, 7. The good flying stars are 4, 6, 8, and 9. Here is my short summary of the flying stars.

Flying star number 2 :: is in the West . This concerns health and illness.
So, if you sleep in the west sector of your house, you would need some feng shui cures. Many feng shui practitioners offer various cures, but I would use very simple and old cures which have been tested as very effective. The old Chinese cure of 'wu lou' or the painting of the Tibetan Medicine Buddha would be put somewhere in this sector. I also place a Buddha statue on a shelf in this room; a garuda is also a very helpful aid.

Flying Star number 3 :: is in North-East. This concerns quarrel, dispute and lawsuit.
Avoid putting water feature such as fish bowl or blue colour items in this sector. It is advisable to refrain from digging or making lots of noises in this sector. Keep this sector very quiet and undisturbed. The cures would be something like red carpets or door mats. Some auspicious symbols of OM or other spiritual symbols would also give nice and cooling vibes . A bright light is also recommended in this sector.

Flying star number 5 :: is in the North. This is Five Yellow or the Misfortune Star.
This star is the most inauspicious star and should be treated with respect as the misfortune includes accidents, injury, disaster, legal disputes and bleeding. Do not dig or renovate in this sector and do not place items with yellow or red colours here either. This sector has to be kept very quiet and dim. If your front door is in this sector, it is better to use other door this year. One possible cure is to use white or grey carpet to lessen the impact. The second trouble is that the influence called 'Three Killings" which is another kind of unlucky energy will span the north and north-east sectors adding to more stressful problems. It is vital to perform lots of religious prayers, meditation and offerings to the monks and poor people if you cannot avoid using the northern front door. People who live in the northern part of Thailand will be under a lot of stress and inundated with all kinds of problems and misfortune. I also recommend a Buddha statue and Kwan Yin in this sector. It is forbidden to renovate in the south sector as it is opposite to the conflict star in the north. Keep the north and south sectors very quiet and peaceful.

Flying star number 7 :: is in the East. This is the Robbery Star.
If your front door is in this direction, it is advisable to place a blue or black carpet to tone down the negative impact. The loss of money and wealth could be through robbery or financial disputes or bad luck, and ill advised investment decisions. The traditional cures would be to place models of blue rhinos or porcelain elephants in this sector. I would normally have my old elephant chairs in this area. A water feature such as a crystal bowl full of water would be very helpful. I would change the water twice a week.

Flying star number 1 :: is in the North-West. The auspicious White Star of good luck.
This positive influence will improve interpersonal relationships and family fortune, it is good for people in competitive business. However, this direction is afflicted with the arrival of Tai Sui (a Chinese Guardian) whose energy will affect people born in the year of the Ox, Dog, Rooster and Dragon adversely. So these people should avoid sitting in this sector and avoid sitting with their faces to the north-west. A change in the direction of the working table is highly recommended. Choose a more auspicious direction for your chair and table. So, there will be both positive and negative energies in this sector depending on your stamina and karma. Chinese people would put statues of 'Pi Yao' or a kind of Chinese animal guardian one would see in old Chinese palaces and temples. Lots of crystals should be placed in this sector to boost the positive energy and to placate dark energy.

Flying star number 4 :: is in the South. This is the Green star of education luck.
For young students sitting for exams or learning new subjects, living in this sector of the house will bring the persons success in exams and education. For single people, living in this direction will also benefit their luck in finding suitable partners. So, to enhance this good luck in education and love, bright light should be used in this sector; a water feature can be used if this is a library or office. For bedroom in this sector, some items with pink colour such as flowers, paintings and pillows will increase the luck in love.

Flying star number 6 :: is in the South-West. This is the favourable Heaven Star.
This Heaven Star will bring unexpected luck and windfall, increase in wealth and fortune, travel and promotion at work and so on. To enhance the positive energy in this sector, you should put symbols of wealth such as gold ingots, yellow colour decorations and use bright light. If this is not a bedroom, a water bowl would be very good too. If the front door is in this direction, place a yellow or brown mat at the door to boost this energy.

Flying star number 8 :: is in the South-East. This is the White Star of Prosperity.
Do not put any water feature such as fish tank in this sector! This is a wealth and prosperity sector this year so it is a very good place to sleep, eat, cook and work here. You can use red and purple colours for decoration such as curtains, pillows, carpet, mats in order to boost this energy. You can put metal statues or metallic items to enhance the earth energy here. Don't put water elements such as black or blue colours in this area.

Flying star number 9 :: is in the center of the square. This is the Purple Multiplying Star.
This star will multiply all the good luck and fortune for people who could tap into this energy. The central ares of the house has to be kept tidy, clean and well lit. Decorative items of red and purple colours are good for boosting this energy. Do avoid water element of black, blue and grey colours in this sector. This is also a celebration star so there will be parties for successful achievements in education, competition and work, weddings, etc. Auspicious symbols of wealth and good luck such as the OM and the infinity symbols could boost more positive energy too.

These flying stars will shift next year during the new Chinese New Year. In fact, there are also monthly and daily flying stars; but they are not as important as the yearly flying stars, except in cases where personal astrological aspects have been preordained by karmic rules. These are just guidelines and suggestions from my experience with the application of feng shui for several years. Luckily, I was informally taught by a closed friend who is a feng shui expert. I was taught that the important thing is to cure the negative impact from negative flying stars as top priority. When the danger is out of the way, we can think about bringing and enhancing those positive energies.

เราสรุปว่า ก่อนอื่นเราต้องเริ่มต้นด้วยการหาทิศทางของบ้านให้ได้ ว่าหน้าบ้านกันไปทิศใด แล้วแบ่งตารางสี่เหลี่ยม เป็นเก้าช่องเท่ากัน เอาตารางนี้วางทาบบนบ้าน ตารางทั่วไปในตำราจะเอาทิศใต้ขึ้นอยู่ด้านบน แต่เราก็จะทำตารางใหม่ให้ตรงกับทิศของบ้านตนเอง เพื่อสะดวกต่อการวิเคราะห์ตามทิศนั้นๆ ในแต่ละช่องจะมีดาวบินมาอยู่ประจำในแต่ละปี ดาวบินบางเลขมีพลังร้ายมาก ส่วนบางเลขมีความเป็นมงคลสูง ดาวบินจะเปลี่ยนตำแหน่งทุกปี ตามการคำนวณทางโหราศาสตร์จีน

เราจะพูดถึงทิศที่ไม่ค่อยดีก่อน เพื่อจะได้หาทางแก้ไข
ทิศตะวันตก มีดาวบินเลข 2: หมายถึงการเจ็บป่วย
ถ้าเป็นไปได้คนที่ป่วยบ่อยๆ ควรจะเปลี่ยนห้องนอน ถ้าทำไม่ได้ก็ลองใช้น้ำเต้ามาวางในทิศนี้. และหาภาพพระพุทธรูปหมอยา ของชาวธิเบตมาแขวน จะใช้ภาพสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของไทยมาช่วยด้วยก็ได้

ดาวบินเลข 3 ในทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
นี่เป็นดาวของการทะเลาะวิวาท การเข้าใจผิด ตลอดจนการมีคดีความในศาล ในส่วนนี้ของบ้าน ห้ามมีตู้ปลา หรืออะไรที่เกี่ยวกับธาตุนํ้า ห้ามใช้สีดำ และสีนํ้าเงินในทิศนี้ แต่ให้ใช้สีแดงและสีม่วงแทน เช่นพรมหรือ เสื่อสีแดง ให้เปิดไฟให้สว่างสดใสด้วย

ดาวบินเลข 5 ในทิศเหนือ
ปีนี้ทิศเหนือจะมีเคราะห์หนักมาก ในทุกๆเรื่อง เลขห้าเหลือง หมายถึงโชคร้ายหลายเรื่อง ตั้งแต่อุบัติเหตุ ภัยพิบัติ การเสียเลือด และการมีคดีความ แล้วยังมีพลัง 'พิฆาตสามอย่าง' มาร่วมถล่มด้วย และพลังนี้แผ่วงกว้างไปถึงทิศอีสานด้วย ดังนั้นตำราบอกว่า เราต้องพยายามให้ห้องทางทิศเหนือเงียบสงบ และไม่มีแสงสว่างมากนัก ถึงขนาดบอกว่าให้ใช้ประตูอื่นแทนประตูทางทิศเหนือ ทิศเหนือตรงกับคนเกิดปีหนู เราจึงคิดว่าเขาคงต้องเหนื่อยมากในปีนี้ คนจีนเขาจะวางเจดืย์ห้าชั้นในทิศนี้เพื่อสยบพลังไม่ดี สำหรับคนไทย เราก็คงวางพระพุทธรูปและของศักดิ์สิทธิ์ในห้องทางทิศเหนืิอ และหมั่นสวดมนต์แผ่เมตตา ตลอดจนทำบุญทำทานให้เจ้ากรรมนายเวร เพื่อผ่อนหนักเป็นเบา คนจีนโบราณจะมีการวางสิงห์สามตัวในทิศนี้ด้วย นี่เป็นสิงห์ในเรื่องของเทพจีน ที่มีหน้าที่เฝ้าตามพระราชวังและวัดใหญ่ในอดีต เราก็น่าจะเอาสิงห์ตามคติของไทยมาใช้ได้ด้วย
นอกจากนี้ยังมีข้อห้ามทำเสียงดังในทิศเหนือ และห้ามขุดเจาะหรือทำการก่อสร้างตกแต่งบ้านในทิศใต้ เพราะจะส่งผลโดยตรงต่อทิศเหนือที่อยู่ตรงข้าม

ดาวบินเลข 7 ในทิศตะวันออก
ดาวเลข 7 หมายถึง การลักทรัพย์และการถูกปล้นทรัพย์ รวมถึงการสูญเสียเงินจากการลงทุนที่ผิดพลาด ตลาดจนการใช้เงินในด้านมืด เช่น การเล่นพนัน การลดพลังด้านลบในทิศตะวันออก สามารถทำได้โดย ใชัพรม หรือเสื่อสีดำ หรือสีนํ้าเงินเข้ม คนจีนจะวางรูปปั้นช้างที่มีงายาวๆในทิศนี้ และวางแรดสีนํ้าเงินไว้ด้วย เราก็ได้ใช้เก้าอี้ช้างและช้างไม้ในทิศนี้ด้วย นอกจากนี้การวางตู้ปลา หรือชามแก้วใบใหญ่ที่มีนํ้าเต็มชาม ในทิศนี้ก็จะดีมาก เราจะเปลี่ยนนํ้าให้ใสสะอาดเสมอ

ดาวบินเลข 1 ในทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ
นี่เป็นดาวสีขาวที่นำโชคดีมาให้ ในด้านความสัมพันธ์ และความมั่งคั่งของครอบครัว เป็นพลังบวกสำหรับคนที่ต้องมีการแข่งขันทางธุรกิจ แต่มีโชคร้ายมาร่วมบ้างเพราะปีนี้เทพเจ้าไท้ซุย มาสถิตอยู่ในทิศนี้เช่นกัน ซึ่งพลังลบนี้จะมีผลกระทบต่อคนที่เกิดในปีวัว ปีจอ ปีไก่ และปีมังกรหรือ ปีมะโรง คนที่เกิดปีเหล่านี้ต้องพยายามอย่านั่งหันหน้าไปในทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ เราจึงมีความจำเป็นต้องปรับทิศทางของโต๊ะทำงานและเก้าอี้ในทิศทางที่ให้พลังบวกในปีนี้ คนจีนชอบใช้รูปปั้นของปี่เซี๊ยมาวางเพื่อให้เทพเจ้านี้มีการส่งพลังบวกมากกว่าด้านลบ การใช้หินคริสตัลมาวางในทิศนี้ก็จะช่วยบรรเทาพลังร้ายได้มาก

ดาวบินเลข 4 ในทิศใต้
เลข 4 เป็นเลขที่นำโชคในด้านการศึกษา การสอบแข่งขัน และโชคดีเรื่องความรักสำหรับคนที่ยังเป็นโสด นักเรียนและคนที่ต้องสอบแข่งขัน ควรจะนั่งทำงานในทิศนี้ของบ้าน จะได้รับพลังดีๆในด้านความจำและการแข่งขัน ส่วนคนที่เป็นโสดก็ควรเปลี่ยนห้องนอนมาในทิศใต้ และตกแต่งห้องด้วยสีชมพู ห้องนี้ควรมีไฟส่องสว่างมากๆเพื่อเพิ่มพลังให้มากขึ้น

ดาวบินเลข 6 ในทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้
เลขนี้เป็น เป็นเลขของดาวสวรรค์ ที่จะให้พรด้านความโชคดี และ ลาภลอย ทำให้มีทรัพย์สมบัติเงินทองมากขึ้น ทำให้มีโชคด้านการเดินทาง และความก้าวหน้าด้านการงานด้วย การเพิ่มพลังด้านนี้ให้ตนเองและครอบครัว สามารถทำได้โดยการเอาสัญญลักษณ์ ก้อนทองคำและความรํ่ารวยมาวางในทิศนี้ คนจีนมักชอบเอาก้อนทองคำ เรือสมบัติมาตกแต่งตามโต๊ะและตู้โชว การใชีสี้เหลืองในการแต่งบ้านก็ช่วยเพิ่มพลังบวกได้ ถ้าห้องนี้ไม่ใช่ห้องนอน เราก็สามารถเอาชามแก้วใบใหญ่ใส่นํ้ามาตั้งไว้ได้ การใช้พรม ผ้าม่าน และเสื่อสีเหลืองที่ประตูทางทิศนี้ก็ยิ่งดี

ดาวบินเลข 8 ในทิศตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
นี่เป็นทิศความมั่งคั่ง ความรํ่ารวยของบ้านในปีนี้ จึงเป็นการดีมาก ถ้าจะใช้ทิศนี้ เป็นที่นอน ที่ทำงาน ที่ทำอาหาร การตกแต่งห้องนี้โดยใช้สีม่วงและสีแดงจะช่วยเพิ่มพลังบวกให้ทุกคนในบ้าน ควรใช้รูปปั้นที่ทำด้วยโลหะวางในห้องนี้ด้วย แต่มีข้อห้ามคือ ห้ามมีตู้ปลา หรือ อ่างนํ้าในห้องนี้ และ ห้ามใช้สีดำและสีนํ้าเงินมาแต่งห้องด้วย

ดาวบินเลข 9 ในกลางบ้าน
เลขนี้เป็นเลขที่ช่วยทวีคูณความโชคดีและความรํ่ารวยให้กับคนในบ้าน ห้องหรือบริเวณกลางบ้านจึงต้องมีความสะอาด และเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย ควรใช้สีแดงและสีม่วงในการแต่งบ้านในบริเวณนี้ ห้ามใช้ของที่มีสีดำ สีนํ้าเงิน หรือสีเทาในส่วนนี้ ดาวเลขนี้จะนำมาซึ่งความสำเร็จ และความสมหวังในหลายๆด้าน การวางสัญลักษณ์ของเลขแปด และ สัญญลักษณ์ที่เกี่ยวกับความสำเร็จรุ่งโรจน์ สัญญลักษณ์ โอม ก็ช่วยเพิ่มพลังบวกได้ด้วย

ดาวบืินเหล่านี้จะเคลื่อนย้ายในช่วงปีใหม่จีนในปีหน้า ในแต่ละเดือนและแต่ละวันยังมีการเคลื่อนที่ของดาวบินด้วย แต่คนส่วนใหญ่จะให้ความสําคัญกับดาวบินที่อยู่กับที่นานๆมากกว่า เราคิดว่าคนที่มีวิบากกรรมมากๆ จึงจะได้ผลกระทบร้ายแรงจากดาวบินประจำวันและรายเดือน เราคิดว่าเรื่องพลังของดาวบินมีอยู่จริงตามหลักการคำนวณ ทางโหราศาสตร์จีน แต่ก็เป็นเพียงส่วนเล็กๆเท่านั้น เราก็ได้เรียนรู้เรื่องที่มีผลกับเราโดยตรง คือเรื่องพลังบวกและพลังลบ เหมือนฤดูการแห่งพายุ มรสุม และ อากาศที่เปลี่ยนแปลง แต่ในทีสุดก็อยู่ที่บุญกุศล และกรรมที่สั่งสมกันมาตลอด ถ้าเรารู้ว่านํ้าหลากจะมาแน่ๆในเร็วๆนี้ เราก็ควรจะขนของขึ้นที่สูงก่อนจะสายเกินแก้ ถ้ารู้ว่าฝนจะตกหนักเราก็จะได้เตรียมเสื้อกันฝนและร่มก่อนออกนอกบ้าน เพื่อนต่างชาติที่เป็นคนสอนเรา จึงบอกให้เราดูเรื่องสิ่งที่เป็นภัยและมีพลังลบ เพื่อแก้ไขและป้องกันก่อน แล้วค่อยไปเข้าหาและเพิ่มพลังบวกในภายหลัง ทุกคนเป็นที่พึ่งแห่งตน ถ้ารู้จักใช้เครื่องมือให้ถูกต้อง ชีวิตก็จะราบรื่นมากขึ้นนั่นเอง
