TIPS ON HOW TO RETAIN FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS
Followership is very important especially in blogging business as it goes a long way in determining the success of a blogger. See my post on faithful followers.
Steemit community is a community filled with excellent bloggers from all over the world. No one here can claim to be indispensable. I discovered that majority of steemit bloggers pay more attention on getting followers than retaining them.
Some bloggers don’t even care about their followers especially some whales, dolphins and top minnows that have thousands of followers. Some of them I guess are seriously engaged with so many activities which constrain them from been active. Bellow are few tips on how to retain your true followers.
Constant reply of their comment: It is expected that those who commented on your post should get a reply from you; this will show them that you appreciate their comment. I discovered that most bloggers don’t reply peoples comment. If you refuse to reply peoples comment, soon they will lose interest in visiting your blog.
Periodic upvote of their post: Every faithful follower will wish to get an upvote from someone he or she is following. Endeavour to visit their blog once in a while and upvote their post, you can also leave a comment as this will make them see reasons to continue following you.
Comment upvote: You can choose to upvote the first two or three deserving comments you got immediately you sent a post. I can say categorically that most steemit bloggers are observing this tip. Comment upvote makes your followers to be on the lookout for your post.
Organizing reward program: A reward program will make your followers to keep visiting your blog to check if there is any reward.
I believe that with these tips, one can keep his or her faithful followers.
