Based on your last two Steem posts, I assume your mining coins - if you could provide some insight as to why you decided to mine and what you need to mine, that would be awesome!
Well what I'm doing is not mining really. Basically companies will pay me for using my computing power. The more tasks I complete fpr these companies the more I'm paid. And the more compute power the more I can get paid.
Thats very cool! What do you call this process of outsourcing computing power and how do you gauge which companies need it?
We call it worker nodes in general although nodes may have different roles within the network. Such as processing transactions, timestamping transactions, verifying transactions, etc. According to VIVA "Once you are setup in the VIVA network, your computer will signal that it is available to complete tasks. These tasks include retrieving data, storing data, and networking between computers.

You can't learn something with reading only, you also have to do that. And you are doing that. I am thankful for that because I am interested in your project and I am sure you will figure this all out!
I'm not a programmer and never understood it but it's starting to make sense. At least enough for me to get this setup how I need to.
And afterwards you will learn more, even if you don't want to (because you are using it.)

Finished moving but basically I've been spending literally what seems like all day getting these machines setup. So much time I'm forgetting to eat and go outside. Once I get this finished I'll be back on here more. Sorry I haven't been around. Just been busy.
Well take your time, you have more important things to do at the moment. Would love to see how your machines look like now and what you did.
I also forget to eat when I am really focused on something. Couple that with the curiosity of something new and you have tunnel vision.

I understand you. I tried to build a rig for myself (which is probably nothing compared to what your trying to build), and it took lots of youtube videos and lots of hours trying to figure things out. Researhing everything i could. Good thing there is the internet nowadayss. 😁
You are a smart person. The internet is the biggest library in history and people should start treating the internet as such instead of wasting their time on social media, youtube and porn.

Like you...I'm pretty much done with the set-up (the DE-construction)...I've ripped out it's tiny guts. Real soon now I will be RE-constructing...adding stringer, spars, ribs, the floor...and other stuff.
I expect it to take many months...if not years...but what else have I got to do?

I found it under a tree.
Actually a guy had bought it years back and had intended to restore it. It sat on a racnchette outside of Austin for a decade..slowly dry rotting away.
he finally decided that he wasn't going to actually DO anything with it so he sold it to me.
and I tore out it's tiny guts.
(that's just part way..I removed everything on the inside. If it wasn't part of the fiberglass hull or cabin..color it GONE.
I intend to rebuild it. I HAVE the technology.
If I only knew what the hell I was doing.
Man that looks like a really dope project to tackle. Yea I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like that. Start with your imagination.
