An Orange Peel Poached Egg - A BraaiBoy TV Recipe
Ever wanted an egg while out camping, but don't have a pan, pot or anything else to make it in? Well... If you have an orange, then I've got just the trick for you.
Of course if you can remember to pack oranges, you'd probably remember to pack a pot or a pan.... so, hell... if you're just looking for something new and cool to try out, then this is also the trick for you.
The best part is, that it actually tastes lekker as well! disclaimer: some people say it tastes awful :P Can't please everyone, I guess :-)
In this episode I poach an egg in an orange peel directly on the coals.
double, double... toil and trouble
topped with hot sauce to finish
Using your finger, clean out the orange properly... don't leave any orange pieces in the peel.
P.S. Make sure to clean out the orange completely, or the taste will be TOO "orangey"... unless of course that's what you're after.

If you clean out the orange properly (i.e. don't leave any actual orange pieces in it), then it's not that orangy at all.
i.e. After you've scooped it out with your finger, use a teaspoon to scrape out any excess.
