Eye on Artists: David Bowie
An interesting song with very cool video is David Bowie's "Space Oddity." His music and subjects were eccentric but all original and catchy so it was a good combination. The instrumentals even if not super complex coalesce into a cool way with the intricate vocals.
"Life on Mars" space and ETs was a cool part of his songs. This hit has a very interesting vocals that combine well with some great piano and strings.
"Heroes" is a cool tune with chill instrumental lines and seemingly detatched vocals.
"Rebel Rebel" is played a lot but is pretty rocking.
"The Man Who Sold the World" is a typical Bowie song, with the interesting subjects and vocals and cool instrumentals having their own special spots for emphasis.
"Changes" has been featured in big ads and discusses the nature of our world changing.
I really like the music video for "Let's Dance" but the song is also cool, a funky bass and drums with up beat vocals. The video is interesting with the bar and the group of people journeying across open lands.
From which ever angle one goes into studying or exposing David Bowie to the world, the richness of this person is monumental and deserves great attention, something easy to catch on as soon as one pays attention for a second or two...

David Bowie was such a large-scale personality in the world of music that he does not need any ideas. His work has had a huge impact on the tastes of generations, and the images he created are real works of art. Bowie knew and loved all over the world. Until the end of his life, he belonged to music and recorded albums. Bravo to the author for the article. People should know and remember.

The verse "ground control to major Tom ..." gives me boosebumps. One of Bowie's best songs in my opinion
