This is my journey towards 100000 Steem Power Day 3. I am a very dedicated individual and I want you guys to be a part of my journey to get you motivated and to learn from my mistakes!

Besides my daily description of what I did to reach that goal today, I will also use this as a "journal" to keep track of my other personal goals.

What I did Today to Reach my Goal

My daily routine exists of writing 2 posts per day, replying to people, commenting on posts from followers and upvoters and watching a Steem video for 10 minutes per day as a means of learning something new.

Today a follower called @adamantine told me that I can select the payout from each post to be 100% Steem Power or 50% Steem Dollar and Steem Power. I didn't know what that means so far! Thank you Adamantine!

Besides that I also talked with a guy called @getonthetrain who told me a couple of things about Steemit, upvoted my content and even resteemed my latest post! In return I helped him to improve his website! Thank you as well!

Personal Goals

Guitar Mastery - Play 90% of the Song "Asylum" by "Disturbed" successfully by July 2018
I got a little bit faster than I was yesterday but It wasn't enough to improve my score on the song. I only have 7 months of 10 minute per day guitar practise and this song feels like I am not ever gonna be able to master it.

Note: I am not the person in this video! I shared this video to show you how fast it is! Hitting the Low E string with alternate picking that fast is a fucking pain in the ass!

Training - Reach 90KG with 12% Bodyfat by July 2018
Today I worked out but from home to not lose my strength because I couldn't properly workout in a week now! Everyone who seriously trains to get stronger needs to remember this: Lift regularly! It does not matter if some sessions are bad.

If you didn't lift weights in the last 7 days you get weaker and you can not allow yourself to let that happen every month! This has to be the exception!

Diary

Today was a very productive day overall and the tight feeling around my chest got much less and it is almost gone! I actually wanted to visit the doctor today to have my T-Levels checked but my sleep rhythm is now destroyed and it is 05:37 here in Germany as I write this.

I am not going to excuse this now because it is a lack of discipline from my part and I always had that problem since my childhood. Being self-employed makes that even worse. I really have to fix this bad habit.

I am a really productive person but sleeping is something I never seem to get fixed. My neighbors don't make that easier. However, I have seen them leave their home yesterday at 03:00 with a lot of bags. I guess they always come for a couple of weeks and then they leave again for a couple of months!

That means it will be more silent in my bedroom and that should make it easier to fix my sleep now that I am starting to feel better too. I am not perfect and I don't want to hide that from you guys. I want you guys to see the problems that I have while climbing the top so that you can avoid these problems!

I really have to fix my sleep. My sleeping problems have a silver lining tho, I know that many people have problems to get into flow after they wake up late. I don't have that problem because I am used to waking up at random times and forcing myself to be productive. If I fix my sleep I will become a productivity machine!

Conclusion: My followers (I hate that word, these people try to make money online, they are leaders in my opinion) gave me great tips today. I am feeling better and the day was very productive. Overall I call this one of the better days :)

Thanks for the shoutout bro! 100,000 Steem power, just thinking about that, it's hard to get your head around when you think of the future potential. Have you watched any videos by @jerrybanfield? He's one of the biggest Steem bloggers and a witness. He's got a lot of great videos talking about the massive potential of Steem, and giving tips on how to use the platform. I think we could see $100 Steem one day.

It took me a while to get the guy, but man whatever you want to say about him you can't deny he's a real Steem fanatic! I He is the ultimate shill, I kind of see him like a wild eyed Steem cult leader... 😂

Trouble sleeping? I also have this. In fact, as I write this my boyfriend is sound asleep and I know I won't be sleeping for hours. If you haven't already do a bit of research about sleep hygiene. What works for me is making sure all lights are off and windows are covered so headlights won't bother me. Also setting a routine helps train your body as to when it is time to sleep. It's a good idea to try to go to sleep and wake up at a similar time each day. Making sure you have had a good roductive day especially with exercise helps me sleep better. I also use lavender and frankincense essential oils. Sometimes I take a not too hot shower to try to help my muscles relax. I also try to do a structured meditation where I close my eyes and try to visualize my body turning into a glowing liquid which is melting, starting with my feet and proceeding all the way to the top of my head. Sometimes with this visualization I flex the muscles before imagining them melting to use the let down from flexing the muscles to lock in a relaxed state. I'm sure you will find more tips online, I wish you good luck with getting sleep

I have this problem for such a long time & I have so much experience with it that I already tried everything and even published a post about it some days ago!

I also always had trouble with high blood pressure & I just love to sleep (this is one of the reasons I became self-employed hahaha, waking up to work for some person I don't care about ain't nuffin for me)! So I guess I really need to hire someone someday to kick my ass outta bed, I probably will kick his ass in return, sleep is just holy for me but I also know that my social life suffers when I don't wake up early!

I sometimes miss gym sessions too as my gym is not open 24/7.

I really have no clue how I can fix this, fact is I have no reason to wake up in time. I love my sleep, I can work when I want and I can also workout at home and I only meet the brothers of my gang twice per month.

I feel guilty now, as a leader I have to embrace discomfort and lead by example. Guess I have to pull an allnighter or gradually decrease the hours I am awake.

Anyway. this has to change starting today.

It's the opposite. If you have the powered up icon it shows that you are a firm believer in Steemit and you aren't taking the quick monetary reward. Instead, you are trading that to increase your long-term Steem power and influence.

Now get some sleep! You need to recharge to hustle!

I will sleep after I wrote a couple of comments. Thank you for the reminder, it actually means a lot to me even tho it is annoying! Sometimes I wish I had a Drill Sargeant here who wakes me up at the same time every morning so that I can sleep in time at the evening!
