Good morning Steemians, I hope you're all doing well!
Today is wednesday and my boyfriend is back to work. This flu was quite a bad one for him, so it basically ruined his entire Easter weekend. Today, he had his energy back though, so things should be fine at work now!
He'll have to work on saturday aswell, so next weekend will be a short one. He'll try to get next wednesday off though.
Why does he have to be away from work on wednesday? Well, because we'll be driving to my old city to sign a document for the intention to sell and buy my house!
That's right, my house is basically sold, unless the buyer changes her mind within about two weeks from now.
Houses go really fast lately, especially in cities, so I was hoping mine would be a quick one aswell. I'm so happy to have it sold within two weeks of it being on the market!
She offered a good price and even better conditions. Usually, you sign this intention to sell/buy with a little note that tells you the buyer can step away from this if he/she can't get a mortgage for the house. In this case though, she already has the financial means in order within two months from now, so this little note doesn't apply here. That means a lot more security for me a lot faster.
I'm so happy to get rid of the house! It was a financial burden we weren't even using anymore. We might have taken a while to get it on the market, but hey, it turned out well in the end.
The official sale will be at the end of may, but seeing as the house is already empty and clean, that's not a problem at all, I can wait!
In other news, I've basically just been playing a lot of Elder Scrolls Online lately. I found out about crafting writs, which are daily quests to craft some items and you get a reward for it in the form of crafting materials and sometimes new recipes. So I'm trying to do those every day now.
The last few days, we've been watching Supernatural from bed. It means we don't have to burn any wood in the woodstove during the evening, since we're already warm in bed. We're at season 2 now. So much further to go until we get to the point where the episodes are new for me, but we'll get there some day! I still have to buy all of the seasons after season 5, but it's cheaper to buy a box set for season 1-12, instead of just getting the missing ones. I'll get there some day, though I don't have the money to spare for it right now.
I've been browsing the house market a little and noticed there's not much choice within our price class. I found one house, which I have renamed as 'My dream house'. If my boyfriend didn't still have his loan from his old house, we would be able to buy that one. There's just a lot that needs to be done in that house, so it would cost us a lot too. It's in a beautiful environment though. Lots of nature! I would love to live there...
Ah, if only the crypto market would explode again... I could have bought my dream house!
Well, maybe I'll find a new dream house some day, or maybe this one will stay on the market long enough for me to get enough cash somehow. Who knows what the future might bring!
For now, I'm happy to have a roof over my head for not a lot of money, so my boyfriend can pay off his loan and we can then save up for a new house. In the end, the most important thing is that I found my dream boyfriend, right?

I'm glad to hear your boyfriend is better now, but boo—gotta let his work life catch back up a little too now. Congrats on selling the house! Preparing and cleaning in advance paid off literally, and you found a buyer equivalent to the work that was put in from your end!
Supernatural is a pretty good show, I watched a season or two back in the day, but it's super funny and Castiel is awesome lmao. Warm and comfy is always the best! :3

I love Castiel! I wish we were already a couple of seasons further in, because he's not in the first seasons. I love Crowley aswell, which will also take a while yet. Oh well, we'll get there one day, after I buy the later seasons aswell :D
It's always good to hear when something awesome is going on in your life! Oh really? He doesn't appear until later on? One of my friends had me camp with them binge watching for a weekend. I more tha likely just tuned in wherever they left off! xD

Yeah, I only have the first five seasons on dvd and I'm not even sure he'll be in them at all yet. If I remember correctly, he enters around the sixth season.

Thank you! I'm very happy with this big step and we can now hopefully find a new home, as soon as we pay off my boyfriend's debt! I gotta admit, I'm half tempted to power down and sell all of my cryptos at these crappy prices to just get the debt over with and buy that awesome house I found :-)
I understand the feeling. But right now, I think hodling is our best bet. I'm hoping things will perk up soon. I'm thinking of switching my littel BTC investment to some Eos instead, which seems promising.
Yeah, I bought a few EOS tokens a little while ago, though I don't know enough about it to really make any good decisions on that one. I just follow where the Steemians go and they are very positive about it.
Yeah. It seemed a bit complicated for me so what I did is I sent Frank some SBD and he sent me the equivalent in EOS. Didn't go through a third party exchange, just my Ledger and his Trezor. It was a bit complex to register it but Frank helped me through the process. Have you registered yours? Apparently it needs to be done before June.

Hmm what exactly do I need to register? Ledger or Trezor? I've just been using exchanges like Bittrex and Kraken so far.
It's the EOS tokens themselves that need to be registered before June, or there is a risk of losing them when the system is implemented. Right now they can be on an Ether wallet but they will be their own ecosystem after the June implementation. This is the video we used to guide us to register my tokens:

I used my Ledger, so I didn't need to generate a new wallet code from scratch, so I had one less step to do. Then I saved everything in a text document for safe keeping, including the hash that proves Iregistered the tokens.

Right, well, I understand part of it! So I now generated and registered the EOS key in my Ether wallet, which means I should now be able to send the EOS from the exchange to the wallet through the use of my Eth address, atleast that's what one of the videos says. Hope that's all there is to it :D

I took some photographs and wrote a post with them. I'm in the library as part of my mission to spend less time on my own at home. But I've been sitting here for a couple of hours so think it might be time to make a move.

Not so long ago we were heating with wood. Spent many evenings under the covers watching Adult Swim. Those were good times. We bought this place 5 years ago and now have central heat very nice until the power is out.
I think you will end up in just the right place. I have started to see how the perfect thing comes to people sometimes in most unexpected ways.
Sounds like very cosy evenings. We've got plenty of blankets to keep us warm here too. During the cold winter nights, I did miss central heating though ;-)
