Why was my post was hidden due to low ratings?
I'm not happy that I spent a good amount of time writing my previous post, and in less than an hour it got hidden due to low ratings.
What does that mean?
This sucks! I feel discouraged to write on this platform again without a proper explanation to why my post was hidden.

I got wacked too. 49 upvotes and then 3 downvotes from some bad ass whales.
What is a whale?
A whale is a wealthy person who throws a lot of money around (buying and selling in high volume). The analogy is that a whale is so large its actions have a profound impact on its environment (big splashes in the market).
Maybe they downvoted you because your picture looks like haejin?
They seem to hate him because he does well constantly. I dont think his post are any more shit post than others. There are a few witnesses that only post shit and they are never attacked.
Honestly a shit post to me is not a shit post to the next guy. You know the expression "to each his own"?
The bottom line is steemit is ruled by a bunch of bullies that have all the steem. You either kiss ass or quit.
I try to duck and run. I dont want to quit, but the assholes have attacked me a few times in less than one month.
But I have confronted them and questioned their evil practices. Not smart on my part.
I should just hide, build strength then ninja their asses!
This seems like a reason to leave the platform, rather than just work to be the top of it.

BUT steemimg upload has not worked for a few days now. The upload button does not work or has been disabled. This sucks! :/
Strange, usually I'm able to upload all of my images, but I convert to png or jpeg and don't really have a problem doing it. It's possible there could be an issue I'm unaware of though. Another way to upload to steemimg is to copy the image into your clipboard and paste it (not the link but the actual image).
That's cool. I didn't know that I could do that. Maybe I'll give that a try sometime.
Not sure why the steemimg upload button doesn't work for me on any on my computers at home or office.
What it means is you got your post flagged by either multiple people or someone with a large stake in voting weight. I'll check it dude and see what's up. Depending on who it was I can probably give you some idea in relation to the material what it may be about.
The post is completely original? @berniesanders doesn't flag for no reason from what I've seen. Either you pissed him off in a comment somewhere else or he thought your content wasn't something that should be on the platform. I have been flagged by him in the past, usually because I pissed him off. Maybe talk to him about if he responds here and see what's up.
I wrote this post myself. Yes 100% original. I have not given him reason to be pissed off at me. I don't understand what his problem is.
Man boy wants to feel his power.

@claybon Thanks for replying. I can't imagine why my post was flagged. It was a helpful tutorial on how to write content for steemit using typora and google photos. If the problem is because I used images that were hosted on google photos and not steemimg then I think that is a dumb reason to flag my post because steemimg has not been working for me for several days. I have tried using steemimg on different machines and with different browsers and it just doesn't work. Anyways I'm a bit annoyed at this for the time being and I don't know yet if I want to continue writing content for steemit.
I hear ya, I've had my issues with flagging in the past. I'm usually more pissed off when I feel it was unwarranted and almost left the platform over it myself. Like I said though, he has never flagged me for a reason that I couldn't discuss and either understand or he removed it.
I visited @berniesanders profile and it says he's a bad whale. I'll take that as an ok don't mess with him lol.
Furthermore I've seen some comments where he has power to bring a person's reputation score into the negative. Ouch.
It's cool. i'll try to stay out of the badwhale's way.
How did you find out that he reported me?
go to your post and change the url to steemd dot com instead of steemit dot com or where the vote numbers are there's an arrow that you can click and see a drop down, but it cuts off after so many votes/flags. He has a lot invested in the platform so if he votes for you one way or the other you will feel it.

Went and looked. Bernie. He is flagging me too. I don't know why either. There have been a few others that are also a mystery.
I would give you the same advice I did to @miggfr if he flags you and you feel it isn't correct behavior, discuss it with him. He is actually a rational person that will speak back and I think his reputation is a little worse than the reality.
I don't give a shit what he does. I am not going to go plead to some "mad" power tripping boy with a flag. He can have my pennies. Not worried about it.

The first one appears to have been a countervote. It was done to reduce whale influence on the platform, it wasn't intended to comment on your post. These kinds of votes should be eliminated when we move to a more linear reward curve. Hopefully that will be soon.

This was a very old post of mine and I have learned a lot since then. Sometimes a whale or other users will think that a post is unhelpful or a duplicate of another post so they will flag it, or downvote it. Always try to guarantee that your posts will add value to the steemit platform otherwise you risk getting flagged by whales and other users. Good luck.
