HOW HEALTHY IS THE TRENDING PAGES OF STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN FOR NOW AND IN THE LONG RUN?

To many, STEEMIT is a goldmine and to others, it's a platform, to a few others it's a place to spam and type NICE POST, others are simply confused while on the other hand we have the ones pillaging the reward system.
The steemit blockchain is however programmed in a way that you can get to see the most successful users and their contents. This of course brings promising hopes to prospective users, and when they hardly meet these expectations, a few tends to resort to begging, dumping of post link, Sammy comments and laziness to create quality content.

In my opinion I still think the STEEMIT trending page is no longer necessary, I get in the early days of steemit, this trending pages were displayed in order to psyche people that it was real and not a ponzi, at least this must have been in @dan and @ned's mind as at the time.

I however have no issue with the trending page, however I doubt that 70% of people here stands with me.
The fact is I've been on facebook for 8 years and earned nothing, so my resolution was to take anything I get here.

However one cannot look in all directions and not see the obvious, the rich are nearly getting more views for their post because they are rich, and the poor are fighting with to claim relationship with them just to get upvotes, which in turns makes them more popular and viral which is a win win situation for these big users who occupy the trending pages.

If we're to compair Steemit to an economy, then I think the economy in general will be in shambles because wealth andis distributed 90% to 10% then with the 10% going to 70% of the population, a few will argue that it's as a result ofof hard work and good content which I humbly do not dispute.

However I'd say there is nothing different between a bad content and a good content, it only depends on who you are, the fact is the people above are not always wrong, because Ithe moment when you say they are wrong, then you are at risk, I saw a downvote of 800k on 100% on a user post yesterday who tries to ask questions, that is why I believe the users on top are hardly wrong, it doesn't really mean they are not wrong, but we can't say they are wrong because they command a high stake in the blockchain and they know it.

MY STANCE WITH THE TRENDING PAGES.

the truth is the trending pages are harmful and toxic to struggling users especially the ones who take time to put out amazing contents.
As time goes on, they will start trying Dmania, Zappl or any non wording affiliate of steemit because they have actually grown tired of posting quality.
Now I know the argument will be, why can't they join minnowsupport or any group, but the thing is, is there like a person willing to take a useless newbie through thea process ofof grouping, when there's nothing in it for them?

With my research paper the chances of a person in Europe being successful is higher than someone from Africa, and the truth is I have evidences to support this claim but I'd prefer not to.

In Asia and America, also Europe, steemit has undergone a whole lot of advancement, but in Africa Its still developing, infact it is underdeveloped. and individual are really scattered everywhere, going solo, except for a few underling groups. Except @sircork's @youareHope I've not seen an African steemit based support and that speaks volume.

Much said and done, this is humbly my opinion, but there is hardly a smoke without fire and they also say there are tiny dots of truth in hearsay and opinions.

As I said earlier that trending page is toxic, and in the long run, may affect the productivity and quality content creating, instead people will prefer to buy votes, make it to the trending where newbie are practically staring at everyday and get more views. These process will make people become dubious and audacious and in desperation to become rich, lose their humanity.
