Here's another old book from my college days that is still laying around. Don't know why I haven't even looked at it since then.
Until these pics were taken this book hadn't been opened in over 25 years. This was one of the main textbooks in college. It was used over multiple semesters. Pascal was the the main focus of computer science back then. Pascal and FORTRAN were the 2 main languages. C was considered to be a nitch for video games that would never catch on. If you wanted to do business programming you were supposed to use Pascal. If you wanted to do science/math programming you were supposed to us FORTRAN. Amazing that programs still had line numbers back then. I was thinking the numbers were just there for reference and not actually used but nope that goto 9999 above the code changed that thought. All that emphasis on Pascal and I have never even seen pascal code since college. College was good for drinking, bad for learning anything useful.
