This week's NASCAR episode features a special car. This car wasn't actually in a race at least not one that counted for anything. It's the number 5 car of Dale Jr. Yes the 5 car. This car is from the 2008 season. It's a test car. The first test car driven by Dale Jr for Hendrick Motor Sports. This was a test car for the All Star race that year. You can't see it but it actually says All-Star Racing on the side. There are a few versions of this car. The standard version is white with red. There is a brushed metal version where the red is replaced with a brushed metal finish. Closely resembles this one but not as shiny. There were 1200 of those made. This one is even more rare. Instead of a brushed metal it's been plated in copper. Where the copper is was the red on the original. There were only 504 of these ones made. Little piece of racing history for the 750th bar episode.
