Album Release Event by Dave Clarke - Photographic Overview
Yesterday I had the privilege to be invited and was able to attend Dave Clarke's new Album release event. Dave is one of the most respected artists in the Techno scene. He is known for being the master of scratch, and his punk style techno sets. Not that strange, since Dave loves punk and post-punk music styles. Although not known by many, his love for music is much wider than that. Also, he is a super intelligent guy who strives for excellence!
Dave says about his new album - The Desecration of Desire: "This album I consider my first album!". Yes, he released a couple of albums in his life, but never one that is build from the ground up like this one. Dave was quite secretive about this album, and therefore I didn't had the chance to listen to it. It is planned for official release later this month. Luckily he decided to play parts of his album yesterday; I WAS IMPRESSED to say the least! He was very open hearted about how and why this and that regarding the album, told about his own feelings, told about his co-working with some really cool people to get this album produced and more, making the event very intimate.
For Dave - the Baron of Techno - this album is so special, he wanted to celebrate the launch with a small group of friends and fans. No press; No media; No nothing. He also selected a great venue, a little art gallery.

The entire gallery was full...
This one reminded me immediately of his radio show he done for years "White Noise".
I think this is the best photograph shot and chosen to support his album promotions.
