Dirtydave rates Apps: Toogoodtogo........ or is it?

I recently learned about a new app called TooGoodToGo.... the basic principle behind the app is that shops and restraunts sell off food ( that is to old to sell.... but still good to eat) for a cheap price.... instead of binning it. It seems like a perfect compromise between paying full price and dumpster diving.

So i thought i would give it a go for my self.... not because i am super gay for the environment and want to save the whales etc, but because I’m a cheap mother fucker and not working at the moment.... so i downloaded the app thru the App Store (because I’m a smug cunt that is too good for android), then signed into the app through my facebook account (yes i know.... they are evil fucking scumbags, run by the Imperial overloard of the normies Cuckerburg.... and I’m ashamed to still have an account... but in my defense i only actually use it for things like this). I purchased some pizza from a local store.... it cost me 3.59 apparently marked Down from 7.18. Only time will tell if i will be getting value for my money or if its a scam.

The window of time to pick up my pizza is between 8.45-9.15... so if your going to try this at home... make sure you are able to pick up your food on time.... its important to plan ahead or order from somewhere close by.... because if you miss your time slot ... you are fucked.... no money and no pizza.... Personally... i set off on my gay folding bike to get the pizza from a local merchant (one who’s pizza i like, but never buy.... due to it being expensive)....... I get a lot of hate for my gay folding bike.... and deservedly so..... but it is without a dbout one of my best ever purchases..... not only does it do everything i want (take me from A-B quickly and takes up very little space) but since i bought it ..... it has only lost about 20% of its value..... none of my crypto can say that..... so I’m very bullish on Bromptons right now.

I arrived at the pizza store, and tell the Pizza Johnny that I’m here to pickup my TooGoodToGo order..... he tells me that i can have some pizza to the value of around 7.20..... he asks if I’m a Vegan/Vegitarian.... i instantly respond “fuck no... quite the opposite in fact” he explains that he can only give me the flavors of pizza that are not going to sell..... they are all vegetarian options... i bitch and ask if he has anything at all with meat that he could offer me.... as i believe that without meat, it is not a meal.... nothing more than a side dish. He kindly offers me an extra slice of onion pizza.... its a vegan option.... but hey, Pizza is Pizza.... I wind up with between 9.00-10.00 worth of pizza. The friendly Pizza Johnny offers me advice on reheating the pizza tomorrow (i should probably have paid attention) and confirms my purchase.

I ride my gay folding bike back to my apartment to put the pizza in the fridge for lunch tomorrow (pictured below)...... as you can see the pizza looks in good condition..... its good slices... not missing toppings, dropped on the floor, or spunked on by angry pizza johnnies ......i have a little sample taste... and its pretty good!!!! But the real challenge will be how does it taste for lunch!

And its delicious.... maybe i burned it a bit but I can hardly blame toogoodtogo for that.... so in conclusion i was a bit pissed about not getting any meat on my pizza... but it was cheap and good.... and given the current state of the crypto market.... we have to find innovative ways to avoid eating Ramen 3 times a day... so i give toogoodtogo 5/5 5 big sparkly glittery stars... in fact .... i was so impressed i decided to get my dinner from toogoodtogo too.... hopefully another 3.00 spent well.

But if your thinking of trying toogoodtogo at home.... i would suggest trying sooner rather than later... because as soon as it becomes popular it will become impossible to get the good goodie bags and the value for money will drop like bitcoin.
