I just wanted to share with Steem what it looked like after the game in Split/Croatia (The second biggest city in Croatia)...
Yes we did lose, but it really felt like a big win for us.. We dominated most of the game and France really wasnt better, but luck was on their side. Autogoal from a dubious faul. A penalty from an accidental handball.. Oh well. :D Thats how it goes.
Pride mixed with sadness and joy. Weird feelings. haha...
Now its over and back to the usual Steem life... Thanks Helpies for putting up with me and the Dtube discord chat. I promise i wont spam anymore Croatian flags.. haha

But Croatia is fighting and running on. Press the blue into his own penalty area, Perisic finishes great. The compensation! Then the second wrong decision: corner France, Perisic clarifies. Handball? He touches the ball, but there is no intention or enlargement of the body surface to recognize. Video evidence. Penalty. No chance, second goal. Absurd!
Croatia comes out aggressively from the break, earns good situations, but is not mandatory. Rebic with a left-hand hammer that Lloris parries.
Then the first French goal scored: Mbappe too fast for Strinic, the rebound is sunk by Pogba deliberately. Subasic does not look good. Minutes later France decide with the 4 shot on goal the final. Mbappe takes off dry. Subasic again only spectators. 4: 1. brutally effective! Croatia tastes everything. Hats off to morality and fighting spirit. Mandzukic corrects his own goal with a blunder. 2: 4. The End. France is world champion! Congratulation. Certainly earned over the entire tournament. But my greatest respect for Croatia. They did their best game yesterday!
Uh. We feel like champions.. The game was as it was. But the heart our guys shown made us all proud. For such a small country the exposure the respect we managed to gain makes this amazing. People were celebrating after the loss. Few minutes after. The videos and audio recording i took were from maybe 10 minutes later...
I have never in my life seen anything like this.
It was a good tournament and fun to watch, even from a guy that knows that a real football has points on it :)
I was (and I think much of the non committed world) was rooting for Croatia. It was a truly great run in the tourney, and I wish they could have finished it off.
