The Blockchain, The People and the world at large

The world is growing so fast when you think about technology. Technology is implemented in almost every area of our life. People are always trying to create something new to make our work easier. This can be reffered to as technology.

Technology can be implimented in many way and it has a whole lot of benefits in Businesses, Education, Industries, etc. Like it or not, it will keep on growing and having a great impact to our life. Imagine yourself without a smartphone for some hours, you will then realise that you really can not do without it for long.

In this article i would briefly talk about the blockchain technology and also the impacts it has in the human life.

The Internet

Reverse the time back to the 1990's when the internet was just new and few people have knowledge about it or even know how to use the internet. Many people never knew its advantage or believe the internet could grow as large as it is today. Now we can't live with out it.

The internet today, is now used for so many purpose ranging from reserch making, online banking, finding a restraunt, calling for a ride, booking flights, etc.

Before the internet was public and opened to to everyone to use, we send mail through third party company which sometimes takes lots of process, cost, and time before the mail finally meets the reciever. Now, with the invention of the internet, it became posible for people to send mail over the internet and this is reffered to as Electronic mail (E-mail). With the invention of email, everything became much more faster and takes just a couple of minuetes to send/ recive mails from any part of the world.

The internet is something most people never understood the great impact to the world at large as it took the world by storm. The most leanerd people who belive in the future of the internet made lots of investment in it and today, they worth billions of dollars

The Blockchain

The world is now withnessing another episode of innovation with a technology called blockchain.Blockchain is simply a database been distributed publically for all digital transactions. This helps to eliminate the need of third party and build transperancy when sending our asset. This called for the pear to pear transaction. The blockchain powered the first most popular cryptocurrency called Bitcoin. Bitcoin was launched in year 2009 and has since then been very useful in the internet. Bitcoin is just like a digital asset, it has value and people transact with it, it can also be converted to the local/government issued currency and most importantly, its decentralised. The word decentralised here simply mean that bitcoin does not have any control and has no business with any government as its developed on a public network.

Now we have an idea on what blockchain really is so how does this affect the people and the world at large currently using this technology? Looking at a blog post by @dantheman where he said something very intresting, and i qoute:

"What are we working toward and why does it matter? How do we get there? Should we give up comforts today in pursuit of an illusive utopia that we hope to bring about? These are the questions that need to be answered and understood at a deep level if we actually want to change the world. Will changing the world actually make our life better? Wouldn’t it simply be easier to just make as much money as we can, have as much fun as possible, and take the easiest road? Why bother with anything that could bring unnecessary pain and suffering with little probability of reward?."

Changing the world is never an easy task but imagine a world where we could all work together, help one another succeed and creat a more wealthy community where everyone feels the impact of posibility.

"Only by working together can we maximize the life, liberty, and property for all. Resorting to violence is a shortcut that can only destroy life, liberty and property. I am honored that so many of you are here and helping me realize this dream." [Source]

It's indeed when we come together and work together we can achive alot of things that leads to a more socialise and better community regardless of where ever you are from.

The blockchain technology itself have done its part by bringing everyone more closer to each other eliminating third party and the government.

I would like you to read carefully what @dantheman said

The core problem with absolutely every resistance movement is a tragedy of the commons. We all want to be free to live our lives in peace and no one wants to face jail time or death by government. The costs to the individual are immediate and potentially infinite, but the benefits they receive, if any, accrue to the masses of ungrateful strangers way in the future, if ever.

This economic reality means that most resistance movements do not gather supporters until the supporters have nothing left to lose. In other words, until the cost of participation falls below the perceived benefit (almost 0). At some point people are willing to die and at this point they are willing to take extreme risks with low probability of payout.

The economic and political enslavement of mankind will continue until Atlas is unable to carry the world on his shoulders and the whole world suffers an economic collapse. It is from the depth of this collapse that people have nothing left to lose and real change is possible. [Source]

looking at The image above from the Left to Right, it simply describes what the people are facing in the past and how things were difficult to bare (before the blockchain. From Right to Left is the begining of a new world

We are now revolving to a world where everybody matters, where our voice has a meaning, valued. A world where everyone can be treated as equal, and a world where you no longer have to sweat to enrich the others.This could mean positive change to everyone.

I am inlove and adicted to the blockchain expecially the one which steemit is built upon i can already see how everyone interacts with one another is a much easy and effective way. Maybe the next generation might be thinking about how the early human able to survive without the blockchain just like how some are currently thinking about how people survived even when the internet was still not public.
