Selling pre-owned products is considered legal but digital reselling is considered illegal in the most country, one example is reselling song from Itunes is considered illegal in most countries. One of the most known resellers of digital goods is Redigi a marketplace for a pre-owned digital product currently on petition due to a lawsuit filed to them. Reselling digital goods harm the producer of that goods because they losing potential profit. That’s why it’s more practical to buy some games with CD’s than download it because we can resale the CD’s while the downloaded games are not. The main reason why countries made digital reselling illegal is that digital goods can be easily copied and distributed.
Knowing the problem of selling digital goods I found a project that solves it, Introducing Asobi coin “Distributed Secondary Content Platform”. The company behind Asobi coin is Asobimo Inc. with five hundred and fifty employees, having fifteen years on the online gaming experience, you can find games created by Asobimo in play store and Appstore. Asobi platform will solve reselling copyrights issues using blockchain technologies.

- Digital goods can buy and sell because good purchase in the Asobi market uses blockchain technologies to make digital good almost impossible to be copied. Asobi will provide a cloud system powered with blockchain technology using its own “Decentralized Security System” (DSS)
- Every time you resell digital goods like manga’s, e-books or music file not only you will get paid certain percentage will go to the publisher, author or the music artist will be also paid because digital goods in Asobi market uses blockchain technology to add information of the product like authors wallet id. It made possible using smart contracts
- Asobi coin will be used as the cryptocurrency in the platform.
- P2P system.

- The platform to be used for an in-game item like special avatar, powerful swords or weapons under Asobi market.
- Items can be bought and sell, Publishers will get some profit when the user sold the used virtual item.
- This concept is relatively new, this will give the more gamers willing to try or buy the in-game items thus if they don’t like the item they can sell it anyway losing less money.
- Powered by blockchain technology to make the platform secured.
Future plans:
- Asobi market wants to expand to other gaming publishers, they are building “blockchain game association” “perhaps” they might use the platform for other companies. Countries involve including Korea, Taiwan, and China
- Project Eternal, a new game that will support Asobi coin (BMX) it’s a game with a budget of fifteen billion Yen a triple A class “Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game” (MMORPG)” in 3D. The plan is to release it to multiple gaming platforms like Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or even in PCs.
