A few days ago, I wrote about the recent Hertz updates and began requesting price feed publishers for the Hertz Algorithm Based Asset (A market pegged asset which oscillates its price feed predictably based on time).
We require 7 witnesses to publish price feeds before the Hertz asset becomes live on the Bitshares DEX.
We have our first witness publishing price feeds for Hertz!

Properties of Hertz (Hz):
- Amplitude: 14% (NOT 33% nor 50% - It was changed to 14% for the first HERTZ asset).
- Period: 28 days.
- Daily price feed change: 2% per day.
- Max price feed rate: $1.14
- Min price feed rate: $0.86
Smartcoin settings:
- Maintenance collateral ratio (MCR): 175%
- Maximum short squeeze ratio (MSSR): 150%
- Max feed lifetime: 1440
- Delay for forced settlements (minutes): 720
- Percent offset of forced settlements: 1%
- Min number of feeds: 7

- Wackou's 'BTS_Tools' (Only use if pull request #44 is merged, OR if you change 1/3 to 0.14 yourself manually).

If I may ask, what price feed script are you using? Because both yourself and xanoxt are publishing offset price feed values.

BTS Tools, I will take a look at it and check the differences.
There's a new pull request coming for BTS Tools: https://github.com/wackou/bts_tools/pull/36
Currently, BTS Tools uses an amplitude of 1/3 (33.33%) which needs changed to 0.14 (14%).

It's an market pegged asset on the Bitshares network.
Its price feed is pegged to the USD, then it is modified using a sine wave. Depending on the time of the month, the value of the token will be different. The minimum it can be is $0.86, the max $1.14.

Thanks for sharing such an article. let me add more to this , to those who still don;t know about Hertz " Hertz is a Formula Based Asset (FBA) which is pegged against the [USD|XDR] and modified to oscillate between rising the price feed and decreasing it in a predictable manner, thus we create phases of buying and selling pressure constantly back and forth forever"

I have to say its exciting but we have to believe it wont dip much lower than 0.60$, my target is 1.30$ short term.

Given that the lowest the price feed goes is $0.86 and highest it goes $1.14, your targets for Hertz are a tad off ;D

I do not know the meaning and how hertz assets work but I believe being on steemit, I will meet experts to elaborate more and be able to understand steemit language
