JetCoin's Jet is Crashing!
Well, this one didn't last too long! This is another "double your bitcoin in XX days" "companies" that was highly marketed in social media & by high-level marketers around the world. This HYIP (High-Yield Investment Program) started business June 8th. Within a couple days people began noticing that the pay wheel on their dashboard was moving faster than the actual payments they were receiving. Some were even hitting 100% on their wheel showing they had gotten 200% return before they even had their original seed money returned. JetCoin's support ticket system got overloaded, as would be expected!
On Father's Day (June 18th) they resolved this by resetting everyone's wheel to 0% effectively clearing the history of any payouts members had received & allowing people to be able to get more than the 200% they were promised. All members were overjoyed with this & sang JetCoin's praises. A big membership push ensued for this "highly ethical" company!
Then just a few days ago they dropped their daily passive return from 4% to 3.3%. They had originally sated you would receive double your invested bitcoin in 50 days. Moving to 3.3% daily return pushed your doubling out to 60 days. They also lowered their binary returns on referrals. All this was done to "sustain longevity for the company." Everyone accepted this & moved on saying "this company is doing the right things to help the company last & we all make money!"
Yesterday afternoon they took their website authentication offline with an explanation that they were having issues with their payouts & the system would be back up within a few hours. Late last night they announced on a conference call they would be lowering the daily return on all accounts to 1.1% effectively pushing your return of just your seed money out to 91 days!
All these changes were done without any prior notice to the investors & without any option for withdrawing your initial investment. How "ethical" do they look now??
I, for one, will be thoroughly investigating any company I'm considering letting touch my precious bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
Long story short, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
