Primecoin is an open source innovative crypto currency that implements unique POW (Proof of work) system for searching of prime numbers, a project derived from Bitcoin.The innovative prime proof-of-work in Primecoin not only provides security and minting to the network, but also generates a special form of prime number chains of interest to mathematical research.
How to get Primecoins
You can do either solo mining of primecoins or by cloud mining using a virtual or dedicated server. One other options is to buy the primecoins from an exchange using fiat currency or by using your bitcoins. A free option would be to get some free primecoins provided by faucets like the ones we are offering on this page
