Google trends search term - 'Buy Bitcoin' surpasses 'Buy Gold'
Hello all, here is data from Google trends for the search terms Buy Gold and Buy Bitcoin. As you can see, the searches for Buy Bitcoin has surpassed Buy Gold.

It is easy to see why more people are interested in Bitcoin these days with the crowd chasing the price gains... BTC is up 658% year to date for +6,263.
While the precious metals markets up the following amounts: Gold 11.41%, Silver 6.43% and the Miners ETF GDX up 9.02%
I think the cryptocurrency market is still in an early phase and there is a lot of years ahead for growth, for both coins and applications. With more countries becoming economically unstable, the migration to a safe haven asset in digital assets may continue to spur both interest and investment.
Very interesting. I hadn't thought to do a trends search like that. I do use GoogleTrends for trying to forecast eCommerce sales of various products so I know how to stock inventory.
