• "I ... want to ..." - slowly, fearfully, another human fool whispers, "I want to become the richest man on earth!" I want to increase my portfolio of cryptocurrency 1000 times! I want other mortals to worship me! - in one breath, the sorrow-investor said.

I grinned at his insignificance. A person will give everything for the sake of a minute weakness, temptation! A piece of an idiot.

• "So-so", I said, stretching every word, giving the impression of the importance of the moment. "So you want wealth?"
• "Y-yes," he stuttered, looking at his feet. "I'm sick of the laughter of these ... my friends! They scoff, they say, I do not have any money, I'm a bad investor! If they knew what cost every deal for me! How many forces and sleepless nights!"

Again complaints. It's boring.
I deliberately yawned, letting my companion understand that I was not interested. You decided to sell your soul for money and fame - please! You do not need to talk about your problems.

I look into his eyes, he is not happy with my look. I can see how his inner organs shrink from fear. The man swallows saliva, squeezing his sweaty palms into fists.

Of course, this fool does not understand the importance of this issue, because the most valuable thing a person has is his soul ...
I just gave him the chance to remain free, untouchable, to remain MYSELF, but he, like thousands of other people before him, missed him! How stupid.
I smile mysteriously, waiting for his answer.

• "Yes!"

I take a yellowed scroll from the pocket of my cloak - an agreement.

• "You need to sign this document. All the terms of the deal are described here".

I give him the unfolded scroll. I can see how he glances over the written words without even thinking. With excitement, he swallows saliva and asks:
-" Where do I sign?"
-" Here." I'm pointing to the last empty line in the contract. "You need to sign it with blood."
I see fear in the eyes of a man, but he quickly disappears at the thought of a beautiful future. I take out of my pocket a thin, sharp blade, as sharp as a razor blade. The guy holds out his hand to me, and I pierce the cushion of the index finger. Blood instantly appeared on the skin. I look at the red liquid.
The man grimaces with pain.

• "Sign your name."
  Nodding, he ran a bloody finger over the paper. That's all.
• "Can I go now?" he asks awkwardly.
• "Yes. The agreement is signed", I pause. - "Wealth and glory are waiting for you."
• "Thank you!" impatience, joy in his eyes. Then he quickly turns and runs away.

The stupidity ...
Perhaps so much good could happen to you in the future. Only now it does not matter. I will come for you soon. I'll take payment for the fulfillment of desire. Very soon. It will happen very soon. Time is like sand, fleeting.
I am straightening the collar of my cloak. I get up from the table, turn around and slowly go into the darkness of the room, in my pocket I carry his soul.
