Does look matter??, if no then this is how the Hermite Beetles looks like.

I do have complete respect for the legendry singer, The Beetle , who even toured India. Today I am bringing up a kind of flying bugs/insects that are found in lights and today i comes to know that it is also called as "The Hermite Beetle**. When I found this species near my leg I got bit scared for the ugly look, but then i realize , it is actually upside down.

The four leg bug is actually came out at night and even with the ugly killer looks, it does not harm any body. They take a short fly . The upside down view looks very filthy with so many pulpy stuffs comi g out of the bug.

Although the top part tells you a different story. The bug have a hard black layer on top and looks very sober. It keep walking at a normal speed, and does not harming anyone.

I was trying to capture the bug, and i belive he trying to escape from me. He loves to be in upside down, as the many times i try to turn him, he take the reverse turn. After many attempts, he try to run away.

The fight between me and the bug need to be stop, so finally i gave up, and leace him as it is. Being into the remote areas, every day i comes across many new creatures, but frankly saying the upside down look of the bug did scare me for a while.

What you say with the first image???

Note: All the images taken using my smartphone at night. I tried to take close up view as much possible

thanks for the information. It does not look very handsome, though

Hahah.....ugly from bottom and tough from top

Usually these bugs are a bit scary when we have a close look but they are mostly harmless. Nice photos @steemflow.
