Beer Review

Super Sparkle is a 6% alcohol/volume American IPA made by Kent Falls Brewing Company in Kent Falls, CT. Kent Falls Brewing Company is a small american farm brewery in northwestern Connecticut. My favorite local package store gets a good amount of Kent Falls beer distributed to them, so I have had the opportunity to try a few of their beers. So far everything I've tried has been delicious. The Super Sparkle is brewed with Centennial, Mosaic and Simcoe hops which give it a clean and refreshing taste.

The Can

Like many of the beers I've tried from Kent Falls Brewing Company, the Super Sparkle has a vibrant and interesting can. Most of the can art features scenes from a farm house. On the Super Sparkle, a large tractor carries a load of sparkling crystal gems over to the barn. The art is in-depth and full of color. It's a great way to catch your eye and present a beer.

The Beer

Due to the name, I was expecting a bright and glowing beer. But when I poured the Super Sparkle into a glass I noticed it was a rather dull and hazy orange color. It formed a thin, yet foamy head. The beer had a crisp and hoppy taste. At 6% alc/vol it was soft and easy on the palate. Overall the Super Sparkle was a good beer, especially for a beer you can find on a shelf at the store.
