Beautiful Sublime Sunday - Frozen kingdom
My contribution for #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday by @ace108 is a series of macroshot photos inspired by the frozen days we experienced.
Despite the cold that bit the skin, I couldn't miss the opportunity to photograph the pine cones and needles from my garden. The rain from the previous days washed away the dust but during the night it turned into a sparkly layer of ice.
Next day the pine tree was shining into the morning sun, its deep green looking simply amazing.
The agave leaves were definitely under siege, struggling to push the ice away.
What can I say? An entire Frozen kingdom all over the place.
Lastly, a funky edit of some pine needles dripping cold water. I've always loved surrealist paintings but I don't poses this talent. Luckily, digital art is saving me. 🙂
On this last Sunday of the year, I want to wish you all a great 2019. The last year was great here on Steemit, let's hope the next one will be a blast. 🎉🎊🍾

It's a very good choice. I was a UFO fan in my youth ... but now I'm asking. Decades ago there were a lot of UFO shots and people had few cameras. Now everyone has a camera in their hands, but UFO pictures are much less ...
I guess everyone believed in UFOs at some point. Iwas (and still am) a huge Star Trek fan.
UFO photos are so rare now as technology prevents faking alien shots. 😂
Of course, this is the cause. Although I can say that I am (or have been) a cinematic, I am not a Star Trek fan.
Star Trek and Marvel Universe are by far my kind of movies. I also like fantasy sagas like Lord of The Rings or Game of Thrones.
I suppose it's my way to evade from the sad reality that surrounds us. 🙂
I understand! Not my favorite genre, but I often end up being stolen from these movies. I like a lot Game of Thrones, that is really an impressive achievement.
Game of Thrones is a wonderful saga. After reading the books I realised that the action from the tv show is very different of what happens in the books.
I wonder when is the time most of the cones will fall.
They will fall during the summer. Winter seems to e good for them. 🙂

Looking forward for a creative 2019, especially with the Chinese luck carrier: the pig. I feel this will be an amazing year for all of us. 🙂
