Beautiful Sunday: Corrientes carnivals

Sundays are highly anticipated, a day of recreation and recreation, ideal reason to get out of the routine for a while and share pleasant moments with the family, which you can share on the initiative of my friend @ ace108.

The departures of Sundays have become a classic, the most grateful is my granddaughter Abigail, is expectant to the arrival of the weekend, everything makes us suppose that they will be fun days. Sunday's walk this week began in the early hours of the morning.

In my city carnivals are being celebrated, a beautiful party that dates from the 60's, Corrientes is the capital of the carnival of my country, a passion that all Corrientes share, for this celebration we work all year round, the costumes are embroidered by hand, each sequin is placed in its place and sewn by hand, it is a true craft.

The construction of the floats takes a lot of time and money, here in my province each group absorbs the expenses of all the materials used, for this reason it is very common to see events throughout the year to raise funds for carnivals.

This celebration has two stages, the carnival or water play and the celebrations of the Corsicans, the game with water takes place during the day.

The theme is very simple, it is a water war of women against men, the team that at the end of the day, has more dry people is the winner of the day.

The Corsica give their beginnings at midnight, there begins the parades of comparsas and musical groups, the differences between both are given by the number of members. The comparsas can have up to 1000 members, while the musical groups only 180.

As it could not be otherwise, for the first time we took our granddaughter to the night Corsicans, Abigail had a lot of fun, she was lucid and awake until dawn, the Corsicans were beautiful and entertaining, there were many groups of different natures.

 

Unfortunately our camera is not very good to capture night pictures, however we were able to capture some images to share with all of you, I hope you find it to your liking, enjoy them.

Abigail had a lot of fun, she played all night throwing snow to the public, now she wants to dance in some group, maybe she can participate in some of the last nights of the neighborhood choirs. We are seeing that.

In this way we conclude our carnival stroll, nothing can be done against the disposition of the destination, rather than accept as it is presented and enjoy a beautiful family Sunday, see you next Sunday.
