My BeautifulSunday and SublimeSunday ~ Clearer Waters
Last Sunday I posted about my, much needed and thankful, ride around the reservoir. We had so much rain that the water then was quite muddy so we decided to go for another ride to see if the water had cleared up some. Mind you, we’ve still had lots of rain but we had some partially sunny days also. The day started with some rain but it ended early.
I took these two photos early in the day!
The sun decided to shine a little later but we didn’t head out to the reservoir until early evening. It was a very stressful day so I was happy to get out of the house and take my mind off some things. As you can see the water had cleared up quite a bit!
We were able to park and get out for a very short walk. It was really pretty and we even got to see the sunset.
The water was calm and was very calming to my frazzled nerves.
We got to hear the waterfowl and even got to see a few on the water in the distance.
It was so beautiful!
Can’t go and not get some tree photos!
I saw this branch laying on the ground and thought it made for a nice photo.
It was starting to get late and people aren’t supposed to be parked after dusk so we thought it best to be on our way but not before another shot of the water.
It was really dark by the time we drove out around the reservoir.
I’ll leave you with some lovely flowers to end my post!

I’m happy you got out of the house for a drive. The droplets on the leaves & flowers look awesome. Lovely pics of the sunset and water. That stick took a great photo too. 😊 ❤️
Thanks so much Jo!! Some stressful things happening the last few day..even more than usual..I will blame the planets..lol!! That branch was almost begging me to take its photo..hee hee. Can never go wrong with flowers and a sunset! xoxo

Beautiful post, the sun setting is a like a calming blanket falling over you. Love those white flowers in the second photos, so unique and the water droplets really enhance the photo.
The red sky over the forest is just superb, love that one. That fallen branch does make a photo of it's own, some sort of metaphor in there.
It was super dark driving home, you stayed out very late! Are the flowers in the last photos the same ones that were in the second photo but opened up?

Yw and thanks so much @c0ff33a!! Yeah, we started out late but it was very nice and not too hot. We decided to park and walk around briefly but before we knew it, it was getting dark..lol! I don't think any of us realized how late it actually was till we got home. I was happy that the water cleared up so much and we got to see the sunset. Hee, hee, I couldn't resist taking the photo of that branch.They were different flowers but from the same plant. Thanks again and hope you are having an awesome week!!
