NBA has gone crazy! Chris Paul and Paul George have signed gigantic contract !
Paul George and Chris Paul quickly agreed with the teams on gigantic contracts. Both stars will earn a lot of money in the next 4 years.
On Sunday, July 1, several top NBA players officially became free agents and could talk to all teams regarding the new contract. Two big stars made a quick decision about the future. It's Paul George and Chris Paul.
The first of them signed a 4-year, maximum contract with Oklahoma City Thunder, under which he will collect a total of $ 137 million. It's a somewhat surprising move, because George was often associated with the Los Angeles Lakers, and yet he decided to stay with Thunder for longer. According to ESPN reports, the player did not even consider moving to another team.
Paul also received even more money in the new contract. Point Guard Houston Rockets signed a new contract with the team for $ 160 million for 4 years. Paul moved to Houston a year ago and together with the team achieved the best balance in the 2017/18 regular season. In the final of the Western Conference, however, the Rockets had to recognize the superiority of the Golden State Warriors.
The Rockets had no doubts as to whether they would be able to stop the leading player. For Chris Paul, the real possibility is to fight for the championship, and the Texas team can guarantee it. In previous competitions the play-maker recorded on average 18.6 points, 7.9 assists and 5.4 rebounds.
Stopping stars is not the only Thunder and Rockets movement. OKC also joined a $ 27 million 3-year deal with Jerami Grant. The rockets stopped Gerald Green by offering him a minimum veteran ($ 2.4 million) for the upcoming year.
