Announcement- Bad Karaoke Says Goodbye
Thanks for the Memories!
First, we would like to thank everyone on the Steemit Blockchain for continuously supporting us while we hosted the #badkaraoke contest. We have had lots of fun hosting the contest, and have made many new friends through the process. The creativity and enthusiasm this contest has inspired has been wonderful!
We got to see our friends sing serious and beautiful songs, wacky and upbeat songs and we even had one of our contestants covered in cake!!! Some sang while floating on the water, some while walking in the woods, while others turned their space into a studio, complete with spoon microphones!
We had lots of fun watching the new videos each week, and we are sad to see it end.
This is the life of Steemit. As we venture further into the Steemit ocean we are being pulled in new and exciting directions, meeting new people, and working on new projects.
We don't want you to be sad though because there is a new an exciting Karaoke Contest beginning and we will be directing our Bad Karaoke contestants to join it.
The Karaoke contest is hosted by @altruisticbot and will be a weekly contest! The prizes are much higher than any we could give away with the Bad Karaoke, thanks to the wonderful sponsors paving the way.

This has to be the worse thing I have read today but for all the best reasons.
I have not taken the chance to enter and now the moment has past.
What a great contest and what fun I have had watching all the entry’s.
But I see all is not lost
I will certainly be checking out the link to the new karaoke challenge and can’t wait to see what you guys have for us in the future.

It's such a shame, this was my favourite competition and finally gave me the chance to excel at being bad at stuff. But life as they say moves on, and you both have so many project on the go it must be impossible to give it.
After all, I didn't really do Bad Karaoke anyway - it was bad singing along while driving so I will probably just do that whenever I get stuck for a post - and keep the #badkaraoke tag alive.
Thank you for all the good times, and laughs - it was an inspired concept and really got an incredible number of Steemians involved.
