- Mercury conj the Lunation ---> mind unites with emotions, ambitions and your personal sense of self
Expect new ideas to work with, new interests to investigate, new subjects to read about and study, new ways to present your opinions and knowledge, new ways to communicate ... to inspire better response to what you have to say!
- Mercury (and the Lunation) are just past the sxt w/ Uranus ---> mind, emotions, ambitions and your self-identity inspire independence and originality
This energy brings liberating insights, "outside the box" thinking, quick changes -- of mind and perspectives, creative ways of expressing yourself, and new "freedom-enhancing" opportunities.

- Venus sxt Saturn and moving to conj Neptune ---> personal values support patience, discipline and self-control in fashioning durable, lasting results from your work ... a more visionary, spiritual, idealistic frame of mind also guides your choices
This energy brings an interest in solid investments, durable and constructive relationship dealings, reliable and well-defined partnership agreements, careful choices in spending ... and profitable choices to generate more income.
Also expect an idealistic, healing attitude toward partners, allies and friends, a more charitable and understanding approach in your work with others, and decisions that support your spiritual beliefs in how you budget and spend money.

- Saturn is unaspected ---> no serious problems with lack, limitations, restrictions, etc. this month from the ambient energy
Issues in your personal chart could tell another story, however. If you have natal planets in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces, their interests could receive calm, steady, well-regulated support from another life area (specifically your Capricorn sector.)
However, natal planets in Aries, Cancer or Libra could mean you feel impeded by responsibilities, heavy commitments, hard work, scarcity of help and resources and other problems for which an unhappy Saturn is notorious. - Jupiter sxt Pluto ---> expansion, growth and investments assist in your major life / lifestyle changes
We are all ... every one of us ... going through a major course correction in "what we want to do with ourselves, our time and our life." This substantial shift in our life's focus will continue for the next several years. (And when it's finished, you'll be headed in a completely different direction than you were in 2008 when it all began. You can probably see a lot of change here even now. This includes stronger feelings of independence and more resolve for self-determination ... the ability to live life your way!!)
But right now, new education, new attitudes and lots of new personal growth are opening up paths and opportunities in this step on life's spiral that did not exist just a short while ago. (This particular energy and its benefits will last for several months! By October, you will have moved closer to your eventual target than you are today. Major shifts like this take a long time to unfold.)

- The Lunation is void-of-course ---> not much worthwhile development will happen this month -- i.e. over the next 4+ weeks
A void-of-course Lunation indicates that changes, new developments and new options and opportunities are still arranging themselves. In other words, the world is still getting its act together so you can move forward again. There are lots of things to consider as the pieces are assembled.
Surprise, surprise!! You are not the center of the universe. Sometimes ... you have to wait for things to "become established and mature" enough for you to recognize and use them. This is such a time. Let Life make its intentions known to you. Be still. Watch ... and listen.

- The Lunation is just past the squ to Jupiter ---> you've got too much going on, you are spread way too thin
You have taken on a lot of projects, commitments and "jobs." You may be running hard just to keep up ... and make good on your past promises. This will settle down as you become more efficient and get some of these tasks off your agenda. But right now, you have all you can handle. Don't even think of taking on more until you clear some of this away.
- Mercury is also just past the squ to Jupiter ---> information overload / too much to think about / too much to keep track of easily
Your mind is absolutely racing with stuff to think about and schedules, etc., to keep. This is part of the new learning I mentioned earlier, but right now, you are taxed to the max just to keep your head clear and all your new information (and ideas!!) straight. Again, don't take on anything else for a while. You're already overloaded.

- Venus squ Mars ---> impatience, irritability, conflict with partners, temptations to overspend, impulse buying
I know. This kind of contradicts what I said earlier about a more spiritual approach to your partners and associates ... and the ability to spend money wisely. <--- Generally, this is true. But there is stress in your Sagittarius sector right now that could trump all your good intentions -- and undermine your efforts to fortify relationships -- if some "Sagittarius" issues get triggered.
The desire to earn more, learn more, grow faster, experience life more fully, take on more lucrative or exciting projects is such a temptation now. A lack of cooperation from your nearest-and-dearest could really set you off -- and toss your noble resolve right off the rails temporarily.
Also, unexpected expenses may pop up this month. Or (more likely) a really wonderful or tempting opportunity to do something you really, really, really want to do / buy / support or have may convince you to bust the budget for a while ... and hope for the best in making up the difference ... later. (Just note the difference between a "rare opportunity" and a self-indulgent luxury when making your choices.)

- Mars squ Neptune ---> privacy issues, confidentiality concerns, a strong desire to keep something under wraps
This is kind of a tricky energy. On the one hand, you may be sneaking around, trying to keep your actions on some personal venture from being noticed, or you may want to do something before someone is able to stop you. This square is a strong indication of secrecy and deception. (Be aware, it could also mean someone is trying to pull a fast one on you. Energy always runs on a two-way street.)
It doesn't have to be something with underhanded intentions (although it often is.) You may also be working on a surprise, a "good deed" you want to keep confidential for a while, a creative project you want to experiment with and let develop further before sharing it with anyone.
Essentially, this square shows action you want to keep "under the radar" and away from prying eyes -- for some reason. Those reasons can vary all over the place. (And again, somewhere in your world, someone may be doing this to you. Be aware. Surprises come in all shapes and colors!)

If you don't ... well, this is one place you can learn. We all have to start somewhere ... because we aren't born knowing this stuff. Meanwhile, if you've never seen your horoscope ... and don't have a clue how to work with it, maybe it's time to find out. There are lots of "chart services" on the internet -- some of whom produce decent, readable charts "for free" and some are so awful and confusing that even I can't read them easily -- and I've worked with charts for decades.
One extremely user-friendly chart site is here: AstroLabe. I recommend them if you want a simple, easy-to-read chart. I think they even give a reasonable little interpretive reading of your horoscope as part of the package. You'll need to know your birth information -- day, month, year, time and geographical place. Without all that your chart will have limited accuracy.

Our spectacular and remarkable planet is changing at astonishing speed. Rarely are these changes for the better. We certainly won't be able to make repairs as fast as we destroyed it.
So a few years ago I began collecting pictures of the way things were ... and still are for now, a record of the beauty we have while it is still ours to love and honor.
